Reflections Spa

WARNING: I will never return to this spa again. My husband and I spent this weekend at crystal springs and let me say we spent a NICE penny on our suite, dinners, and facials. I went in for a Glycolic facial. When the woman took me into the room she asked when I last had a facial and I replied a year ago. She never asked if I have ever had a glycolic facial before or any allergies (which I wouldn’t know if never had this service before) Half way through my facial she put the glycolic all over my face, neck and chest. Within seconds I had a major tickle in my throat and began wheezing than heavily coughing and I could not breathe. The lady did not catch on. After panicking and wiping it off my throat slowly started to subside. They said they have never seen this happen before! And when I was done and complained no one seemed to care. Today my throat is extremely sore and I am still shaken up. When I researched this chemical and facial it said 40%!!! Yes 40% of people have this SEVERE reaction. Not once was this explained to me prior to beginning. I am writing this to let others know that this reaction is possible and was extremely scary and life threatening. I think it says a lot about a “high end” professional expert spa that does not explain health risks, products or warning signs to their customers prior to $170 services. Extremely disappointing and traumatizing! FAR from a relaxing experience and weekend!

I stayed in a one bedroom suite at the hotel for a relaxing spa weekend and the spa lost my reservation and couldn't reschedule me. I'd make absolutely 100% certain your reservation is confirmed right before you make the trip here if that's what you're coming for.

Very beautiful spa, nice rooms. After your treatment. Massage you can relax in the crystal, salt room, like 1000 crystals, feels good good , enjoy
