Not really sure why this branch is getting so many bad reviews. I haven't interacted with the bank tellers much, but they have been helpful every time I've gone in to the branch office. I recently opened a business checking account and had some issues, and everyone I work with was very proactive. I wanted a bank with a local branch, and after some of the issues I've had which were no one's fault, I'm really glad I chose this bank
I needed to open a new checking and savings account. I looked online and seen they made appointments for new customers. I made an appointment for the next day. I showed up a little early and the Asst. Manager Jake helped me immediately. As we set up the accounts Jake noticed my ID was expired. The ladies working behind the counters and Jake waited late till I returned with a new ID. I was not rushed out the door. It took another 30 minutes til we finished. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience at the Elmwood location of Regions Bank.
It’s no wonder they have so many 1 star reviews here. Customer service absolutely sucks. Watched a customer walk out because of waiting forever and no help. Then we are trying to open an account and have been sitting there for over 20 mins waiting… just for another customer to get pulled for service first who was sitting there 5 minutes. This place sucks and the people here are rude, incompetent and just lack respect. Nobody there deserves the job they have. I’ll NEVER bank with regions JUST because of this experience. I’ll wait 5 days for my $3,000 to clear every month through my chase account. Screw this bank and its idiot employees
Sure wish I had looked at all the one star reviews for this bank before I decided to do business with them. I came in to close my last account today because I have had enough of their unscrupulous business practices. The employee Shaleekua or maybe Shaneequa refused to give me verification of my closing the account because of a 3 dollar pending charge, which they had already taken the money for and I even offered to give them three more dollars in cash, but she refused. This was likely so that they could bleed me for another $8.00 monthly fee. Then she orders me out of her office like some kind of dictator because my cellphone made a clacking noise when I dropped it on the desk to retrieve the $3.00 from my purse. She was so rude and ugly to me, likely because they were about to close, and she wanted to be rid of me so she coukd go home. This is the type of situation that made me want to close my two accounts with them in the first place. What ever happened to people being kind to a customer? Not Shaleequa. She really needs customer relations training. Call me a Karen, but the one star I am forced to give this bank to place this review is way too good and much more than they deserve. And yes, this Karen called 911. The officers who arrived were kind and understanding. Exactly the way customer interaction should be. Bravo JPSO! Shaleequa could use some of their professional interaction training. She is nothing more than a bully. Good riddens, regions bank AND Shaleequa...or Shaneequa, or whatever her name is.
I am over this location. Every time I go it’s a long wait when it’s only 1 or 2 cars in line. The atm is always out of service and when I went in the the teller with braids was rude and unprofessional. This was the last straw with regions. I will be switching banks.
I truly appreciate the level of professional service I receive from Regions Bank. I love the security notification and notifications they give. I love banking with Regions
1. Either answer the phone at the Elmwood branch or post the correct number. 2. I have been trying online to get a HELOC. There are deadlines for e-signing forms, mailing info packet in, etc. The employee I was working with has done nothing to help, went on vacation, then informed me she works from home, didn't get the packet since she works from home, that I had exceeded the time limit, and if I was still interested in the loan, I'd have to reapply. I spent money to overnight the requested information, to no avail. This is beyond unacceptable. Throw in the number of times the ATM isn't working and one gets the impression this is a bank in disarray. Really inexcusable.
I liked this bank location until Today. I deposited a cashiers check that Was made out to me from another bank of mines. Only to be told I have to wait a whole week for the funds. After calling another location and investigating why they did that, I was told all they had to do was call my other bank to verify the funds were legit. The workers here are ether lazy or absolutely incompetent to do a simple task. Mind you I was the only one in line, and inside was apparently closed. So it’s not like they were too busy to finish my transaction. I see why nobody comes to this location and the rating at this location sucks!
Atm is always broken. They force you to take off hats and glasses
I bank here often & I have never in my life experienced such unprofessionalism. A short white woman named Shannon was very rude and short with me when she acknowledged me. She also had a look of disgust on her face while talking to me. I indeed felt racially profiled & i’m sure I am not the only one. Her position here should highly be reconsidered.
