My Son bought a luggage rack here for $600. It was a wait to get help because they were busy but customer service was still great. They have everything for outdoor activities but the bikes caught my attention. Some are real pricey but quality is excellent.
Purchased a new mountain bike and a kayak recently so I've had to come here a few times already for parts/accessories and such. They have a great selection of outdoor gear and cover all the outdoor activities throughout the store very well. I particularly like the bike section because they carry the most popular MTB items that riders are most interested anyway. Imo it seems they try not to source products that are produced so cheap. Quality seems to outweigh price here and thats ok with me bcuz id rather spend more for something that will last me a long time. REI does their in house clothing line very well to keep up with the seasons and current styles, clean cut looking style throughout their line. REI brand always pleasantly suprises me. You always expect store brands to be terrible but not theirs, at least not yet for me. Oh and the CO-OP Membership is definitely worth buying lifetime $30 with all the savings and access to benefits its totally worth it for my situation! Thanks REI
Great service at this REI! Super patient at the shoe department They have first hand experience with the tents, advid mountain bike riders, and staff that tries to help you get the best deals. No smug workers here, all friendly people of all ages and demographic
Best place for everything you need in outdoor equipment from clothes, shoes, camping gear, backpacking, cycling, snowboarding, kayaking and everything else in between, only things they don’t sell are equipments that harm animals, a totally green place to shop
Garbage customer service. I scheduled an order for pickup for two items. They cancelled one of my items. Upon arrival, they had 4 of the item they cancelled. When confronted, the employees shrugged and rolled their eyes. This is the SECOND time that this has happened. Someone placed an online order and PAID for the item, for you guys to not even look for it? Seems unethical. The staff here are lazy, and take no accountability. I will never return here and happily take my business elsewhere.
Great bicycle buying experience with up to 1 year for refund or returns, adjustments made on site. It's like a 1 year test ride. Online shopping and pickup in store save on shipping! Purchased many products and easy transactions.
Well stocked store and friendly service. A very helpful and knowledgeable person named Canada helped me yesterday. Thank you!
I went in looking for a specific flashlight. I asked the girl in the little black dress to show me where the flashlights are. She said "somewhere in that area over by camping." I couldn't find the product I was looking for on my own so I went around the corner to Bass Pro and got a similar flashlight. Same features, same price, and the employee took me right to it.
My friend brought me an REI for the first time Got some ideas for my next upgrades gear for hiking packs But I wanted to make a great comment to the young lady in shoes named Emily. Her customer service was top notch. She kept on really ask my friend on size and style and fit. She made suggestions for another brand of hiking boots. Brought out over 5 pairs of shoes. Absolutely outstanding young lady.
The staff at REI was very helpful in showing me how to adjust the length of my foldable trekking poles. I need them to fold for traveling to Switzerland so they will fit in a suitcase but one of the adjustment mechanisms was impossible to figure out without help. I'm all set to go now.
