I don't shop often, so perhaps I am out of touch with the etiquette requiements for 'shopping while Black.' Though I was warmly greeted as I entered the store, I was immediately assigned a 'personal shopper/followed in the store' person. She literally whistled while she worked following me. I soon suspected that she was my 'loss prevention/mystery shopper,' so I began to follow her! She bumped into me and only then did she offer to help me find what I needed. A-ha...busted. All I wanted to do was enjoy a day strolling through the store and shopping in my community. It's tough trying to shop locally while being Black.

Very nicely put together local thrift store. You never know what you might find here. Great selection and customer service as well as prices.
