Residential Rentals West

This POST is from 6/20/2020 from Yelp. Just found this google review so I will post here as well. If I could give Jason a -100, I would. I rented a house from Residential Rentals West and the initial personnel, Kelli McKenna, was really good. The house was in desperate need of a paint job in which she said they would not paint but if we wanted to, sure. We asked at the time, would we be penalized and she said NO but keep the colors neutral. Jason did some shady stuff. First, he said he sent me a lease renewal but couldn't produce the original email he supposedly sent. I have since educated myself on the rental laws in Oregon. While guess what, we were charged a heaping $500 to repaint a house that really didn't need it. I forgot to update my records for my prescription for some eyeglasses and they were sent to the house I previously rented from Jason. The new tenants were very friendly. We walked in the house and guess what, NOTHING was painted. We asked what color was a particular bedroom and they told us the color we painted and that their daughter absolutely loves that room. Jason and Residential Rentals West is a rip off. Save your money and go somewhere else. I still have my final paper where he charge $500 for paint and also charged to have the house cleaned and the neighbors told us, no one did anything to the house because it was thoroughly clean when we left. Jason is going to add so many bogus charges on the final bill so be prepared, with me, it was only Paint and to clean the house. So basically, Jason STOLE about $900 from me. I'm still contemplating taking him to court.

Jason Mock sole proprietor & Jasmine assistant are not very good at follow up with renters or property owners. When they could not replacement renters, rental properties get abandoned, without notifying the property owner. Move-out cleaning not completed and required additional follow up.

I am a service provider that has serviced a couple of the houses they manage. They do not pay invoices due. VENDORS STEER CLEAR

Took forever to hear back from them about viewing a place and now that I have seen it and want to apply, they arent responding to phone calls, texts or emails. Poor service indeed.

They never answer the phone or reply to emails You'd think they would want to rent their houses out.
