We have found a huge benefit benefit by having the Garcia Group manage our rental properties. They get the property ready for renters. Ron's extensive experience in real estate gives us confidence in establishing a fair rental rate and knowing the current rules and laws. He and his staff manage the properties and consult with us only if there is a major issue. We are very satisfied and highly recommend The Garcia Group for anyone with rental properties.
Ron and his team have managed our home for over two years now. Without a doubt we have been more than pleased in choosing Garcia Group! Ron stood out from the beginning by really representing the whole scope of property management advocating for the homeowner and also teaching us as homeowners how to be good landlords. He has helped us find amazing renters and has ALWAYS been available and quick to respond. The 24hour reporting service is especially great for us when we are out of town and has worked beautifully for us and our renters to get any repair issue handled immediately weather a clog in the drain or a leak in the roof! We will continue to recommend Garcia Group services to everyone.
Ron Garcia is very knowledgeable in the field of property management. He and his team do a thorough job for property owners and tenants alike. I highly recommend this company!
I've been extremely happy with The Garcia Group as my property manager. They're fair and ethical, ensuring that my duplex gets all needed repairs and fixups for tenants. Communication has been great, they always respond, and with all the changes in landlord tenant laws they somehow keep track of how to handle it all. My duplex has been in great hands, and my tenants are treated well.
We rented from the Garcia group for 2 years with a perfect payment record. We also left the house in much better shape than we received it in. Although the house was filthy and there was even glass throughout the dirt and week covered backyard, this was not the reason for this review. One of the problems is that throughout the time we rented we had a very hard time getting them to do any repairs in the home. Near the end of year two we received a very surprising eviction notice stating that we had 60 days to vacate the premises and they gave us no reason as to why. After a half a dozen calls and left voice mails, I finally got someone to answer the phone. I ask why we were getting evicted and they informed me that the owner was selling the house. This was completely understandable so we prepared ourselves to move. We worked for those months getting the house to a move-in-ready state. When we finally received our deposit back that was unbelievabley high in the first place $2500.00 there was the normal few little things that we were expecting. The biggest thing was a charge for 500.00 for the removal of a free standing wooden awning that we put up in the back. Also, we were okay with this charge. What we were not okay with is the fact that they charged us to remove that awning and then did not remove it. They just put the $500 in their pocket and I am assuming they “hoped” we would never find out ??? The house went up for sail and sold with the awning intact on the property. I called the Garcia group and inform them about the misunderstanding and could not get an honest answer. They told me they would return my call after they did some research and never did. So I called again a couple weeks later and left voicemails still never received any word. At this point we were starting to get a little upset and felt like we were getting taken advantage of. We tried to contact them over and over again until I got someone on the phone. At this point they tried to blame the actual homeowner saying that they were in charge of my deposit not the property management company who was the Garcia group. They told me that they would figure it out and help me... Again I heard nothing for weeks. After calling and trying every extension, I finally got a hold of them again and now they were saying it was my fault because I did not get approval for setting up the awning. There was nothing in the contract stating that I had to get an approval for a freestanding awning nor anything of the sort. Now that they have wasted a ridiculous amount of my time and never giving me an honest answer I have to waste more money on attorney fees. We have our contracts, the information on the $500 they stole from us and dated images of the house with the awning still standing and is still standing to this day. This company is horribly ran with no moral compass. I will never again do business with the Garcia group nor would I suggest home owners or renters to either. There are too many companies taking advantage of people at every opportunity. Despite your inaccurate reply your reviews obviously shows your companies poor business ethics or at best lack of professionalism and client protection.
My family and I had a good experience renting from the Garcia Group. While we ultimately decided to break the lease to move to a new location, they respected us as tenants and followed the rules of the lease. Maintenance follow ups are not as swift as a typical apartment, but this I believe that this is typical for property groups since their properties are dispersed over a large area.
I had a hard time finding a rental that would accept my dog. The Garcia Group was quick to say yes and might I add the only ones that did. I lived in a rental from them for over 2 1/2 years. I had some minor issues with the rental, such as bursting a water line thanksgiving a few years back when it got to 26 degrees and the repair guy was at my place within 45 minutes. Got the problem fixed that night and fixed properly, never had the issue again. These guys are really reasonable and if your a good renter they are a good property management company. Ron is a real straight shooter, but also extremely easy to deal with landlord. I would recommend this company to anybody I know and have.
