I like the tamales they are so moist and tasty, the beans paste also fine, chicken has good char. Songs were played from YouTube selection and there’s disco lights. Very happy vibe. Price is definitely reasonable!

Excellent service!!..Delicious home made healthy food!!.Clean and spacious..definitely place to go alone or with family and friends, great variety of dishes and drinks on their menu. On the weekends they have great music and karaoke !!!..I go often for my favorite BEEF SOUP!!!...ENJOY IT WHEN YOU VISIT USULTECO!!!...

Sopa de res is worth it, but sometimes their rice is not well cooked.Food: 4/5

Pupusas were very delicious...pupusa loca was immense and soo good....wish the service and appearance to be just as good. We had Pina coladas supposedly w alcohol...where was the alcohol? Overall I would definitely come back for food..but maybe to go!

EL SALVADOR Eat the World NYC review: Blue and white, the colors of the Salvadoran flag, and matter of great pride for its people, are represented well here in Sunset Park's Usuluteco. Even the bricks on the facade have been given a coat of fresh blue paint, under the blue and white throwback awning advertising restaurant and country. Inside, the colors continue and mirrors enhance the size of this small-ish place. It is a working class restaurant through and through, the tablecloths are worn, and the tired faces glance up to the four televisions. During weekdays, the servers join the customers to watch telenovelas, while on weekends fútbol rules. Often times Salvadoran restaurants can make these but do not advertise them on the menu, sort of a need-to-know basis for folks that might want them. They are worth trying if you have not before, a full shift in texture and flavor profiles. The rice is dense and chewy, but with a slightly sweet and more subtle flavor than corn, allowing the ingredients to shine through more.

Great food and relaxing environment

This place has good pupusas I am not going to lie but when it comes to the customer service it’s terrible. They will have you wait for your order. I will always call and ask for pick up and my order still wouldn’t be ready when i get there. If you’re not Hispanic they will not cater to you. It’s sad. Every time I go there my experience is terrible.
