Richardson Sixth Grade Academy

My child had a wonderful experience in the Cambridge program, Team C. He loved his teachers, and he learned a lot. It was a great transition experience from 5th grade to the larger middle school. The buildings themselves are old looking and my son refused to use the school bathrooms, unless he absolutely had to. But the staff were very supportive and motivating. The positive and inspirational attitude of my son’s teachers made him excited to go to school every day, despite the somewhat stark prison looking school buildings. There were a ton of after school programs from which to choose. There was also free aftercare/tutoring/homework help or fun organized activities. I have no hesitation in recommending the school to others.

Richardson Sixth Grade Academy has some good teachers BUT the STUDENTS that attend this school are HORRIBLE!!! They bully and they’re racist which makes it extremely hard to concentrate on schoolwork. Please avoid bringing your child here!!

Good school, decent staff. Some of the bullying needs attention though.
