Ricky's NYC

They have a really large selection of Sparks dye, some colors I didn't even know Sparks made! I feel like this location was a bit more expensive than others but that could just be me. They certainly are well stocked in the dye department and have a large range of products to choose from. I can't say much for the rest of the store as I've never really ventured past the dyes but the staff has always been very warm and extremely helpful whenever I needed help finding something or had questions.

Shocking it was actually a pleasurable experience during the Halloween time mayhem. I came early the day before Halloween I was able to find everything I was looking for with the helpful staff. The lady took her time To help me didn't make me feel rushed or ignored great service, thank you

Friendly staff, have a huge selection of makeup brands, love when they have a sale, get my moneys worth, also thankful for one of their associates Christine, who helped me pick out the right shade of dye for my hair and for helping me around the store.

Ricky's careless lapse of judgment damaging to children. I am a woman who went to Ricky's on Third avenue a few days ago with with a 10-year-boy who was in my care for the day. The boy asked the store employee if they sold costumes and the employee directed him downstairs. Downstairs there is also an adults-only sex toys shop which I did not know about. Although I went down only seconds after the boy, he was already at the bottom of the stairs and had seen the display of dildos and other items. There is a sign above the room saying adults only but they are easy to see because they are not behind a door or curtain. The boy was shaken and upset and said he wished he could "remove it from my brain". We left quickly. That Ricky's would put children's items next to open sex toys is unexcusable.

I love my Ricky's !! Anything & everything the beauty loving man or women could ever want and need, phew short of Sephora.. Ricky's is Sephora's crazy & awesomely cool aunt you never get to see

They had a great supply of small sample sized items that I grabbed for holiday gifts. There's a great selection of goodies here!

Staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. I didn't receive any property customer service and got ignored the entire time. One staff even accused me of tampering with a costume package. I will never shop here ever again!

good for off brand makeup & hair products. I feel they are always evoving. Can by pricey.

Great selection of professional hair products. Never see the same staff members twice though.
