Overpriced items that didn’t used to be overpriced, as is clear from peeling back the stickers. If you want to rip off customers, at least put in the effort to remove the old prices. That’s just common curtesy! I will never shop here again.

I go here for hair products because they're quite knowledgeable. Today I stopped by to see if they sold ink pens because I needed one ASAP. They did not but the employee just handed me one of his own. What a friendly guy, reflects very well on the customer service here!

Not the best Ricky's branch. Product selection is sparse and even when I asked about a specific product, salesperson did not offer to order it, made it sound like I'd just have to take my chances. Staff could be more knowledgeable about products and helpful in general. You're better off going to the Ricky's in Union Square or on 5th near the Empire State Building.

Went there for Morphe whilst I was in NYC. Their selection isn't as varied as I would've liked, but I appreciate that they had some pretty decent stuff for makeup lovers. Personally didn't have issues with the staff; just once when my sister asked for a tinted lip balm and she said they didn't carry any when they did. My guess is that they don't know much on the products and sort of just avoid question. Before I went, I called and asked if they had the Morphe 350 and they hung up. If you persist in asking them, they'll eventually help you out, but sometimes they're a bit miffy. That was the girl at the counter though. The other girl with the braids and darker skin who helped me get the palette was super sweet and helped me immediately, and didn't bug me to buy anything either :

I've always wanted to take my stylist with me to the hair supplies store. I can't do that, but the people at this store are the next best thing. Each employee 3 the day that I went was super nice, patient, attentive and helpful. I'd called first, and when I arrived, the lady who spoke to me on the phone recognized my voice, smiled and offered to assist me. That's customer service!! Another lady with in-depth knowledge about my hair type gave me in-depth knowledge about the products best for me as well as general hair care tips. Fantastic!! The only reason I subtracted a star is because of the store's pricing. I know for a fact that Ouidad's hair mask costs $40 at the Ouidad salon. At Ricky's it's $4 more. That makes me wonder what else is overpriced.

if you have run out of hairspray and glitter this is the place to go. They sell every brand of beauty product in every size in every color. I was dragged in here by my sister who described it as the Alladin's cave of make up stores.

Didn't know they carried some online brands in store! Like Morphe brushes, Gerard cosmetics, dose of color...if you're a makeup lover you will love it

Great store; Hell's Kitchen branches are my two favorites 49th and 9th & 57th and 8th

Great service very helpful especially Chris on there was very patient and explained eveything in detail before i bought anything

Helpful staff. Not as big of a selection as other stores, but it's decent for hair items.
