Rita's Italian Ice

Who doesn’t love Italian ice? This location is clean, staff nice and efficient. I like that they are child friendly which is important for this kind of establishment. Custard and icees are consistently delicious. Few seats and tables outside. If you come on a hot day there may be a small line, but they move pretty fast.

Plenty of on site parking. Staff was friendly and efficient. Not too much of a wait. The soft serve and hard scooped frozen custard are delicious and taste fresh. The flavors rotate every so often and gives a nice variety. The Italian ices are also very flavorful and tend to have bits of real fruit like the lemon and cherry. Great place will come again.

I love that they are open late. The frozen custard desserts are delicious. They even have a few outdoor tables and benches to enjoy your desserts outside

My only favorite place for ice cream. Loooove the Cotton Candy Confetti hand scooped, mint chocolate chip and cake batter. All hand scooped.

i walked in at 11:20 pm. stood there for 10 minutes just staring at the girl behind the counter as she stared at me just sitting there talking on the phone . waited another 5 minutes till more people started to walk in and just left i’ll go get real italian ice at lyndhurst pastry shop instead of waiting for this girl to finish her phone call

I think this place is very awesome for nutley to have. I have gone here ever since I was a young child and always loved coming here for ice cream/ice. The one thing I Wish they still had was buy one get one in the rain. I used to love that deal so much because I would get two small ices and save the other one for another night. It is what it is, however. I think we're all live without it. Thanks so much for your years of service and ice cream!

Rita's is our go too Italian ice place. All of their ice flavors are always fresh and fruity and taste natural. They're custard is always great as well. Get a gelati and you get a combo of both in one cup. Make sure you stop by!

Although Rita's has been in my neighborhood for quite some time this was the first time I visited there. Stopped by with a friend. Didn't get anything "fancy" jst chocolate & vanilla twist. It was soooooo creamy. Delicious. We sat at one of the tables outside & relaxed. Very enjoyable. Will stop again. I think you should go! Thanks Rita

Till this day I have never had any problems with this location. Always satisfied.
