I have nothing but a hard time at this location. I can never ever get threw on the phone to have my 3 children's prescription filled. They just let the phone ring and ring pretty much always 4pm and after. I have gotten so desperate to get a refill I had to drive down there just to ask for it! I told them I can never get threw on the phone. I was met with no apology and a I don't care attitude. I have been charged for one of my daughter's prescriptions for months even though she has medicaid, I was told they can't find her in the system. There is only one associate Misty who has cared about my issue and was able to find her. Of course I didn't have to pay!! Rite aid needs to definitely do an overhaul at this location!! Or hire some more employees if they are claiming the poor customer service on under staffing. Thank you!
I've been using this pharmacy for years ever since they remodeled the service has been terrible but only at the pharmacy I pray every time I go to this location that the line isn't long but 95% of the time it is. They have ZERO sense of urgency I mean they'll be 5 of them working yet the line inside & the drive thru are packed! The line inside will go almost to the back wall & the drive thru is wrapped around the building. They never answer their phone it just rings & rings & rings sometimes you're left on hold & nobody ever comes. Each pharmacist has been really nice there's a guy that works there & He's amazing he's the sweetest person. There has just been one incident where I could tell the pharmacist that was helping me had no idea what she was doing.
The pharmacist can't seem to get their act together. We were told we could pick it up 2 hours after prescription was submitted then every time we call it's another half an hour For in additional 2 hours. I went to the window and was treated with an attitude by the pharmacy tech. I complained and all of a sudden the prescription was ready. Customer service is horrible and response is horrible don't go here switch your provider. This has happened multiple times this is not a single incident.
Absolutely horrible! They've screwed up on running my insurance with a discount card where I typically would have paid $5 if they would have done it right but cost me $500 twice. They'll lie to you on the phone about your prescription being in supply when it's not. They say your prescription will be ready for pickup when you're adamant about needing it in a timely manner which would be within 24 hours, and they won't process it then they won't answer the phone when you call. Then when you go up there the drive-through is closed and a bunch of people are unhappily waiting in the lobby... Probably for similar reasons I just mentioned above. Went to another pharmacy down the road and haven't had an issue since. Do not use this place for their pharmacy they are absolutely horrible!
This review is about the pharmacy. if you don't care about courtesy then this won't phase you. I find them to be discourteous, the hours are not set up for customers and they have sent me a text saying meds are ready. When I went to pick up the meds they told me in fact, meds were not ready and they were rude about it. I finally got tired of it and went to the Harris Teeter Pharmacy.
Besides one woman who I really wish I could separately review on how amazing she is, literally everyone here is rude and ignorant. I once said my dr sent an email with my prescriptions and the girl said “we don’t send emails. Do you mean they sent it through the computer?” verbatim. She then proceeded to tell me they didn’t have anything for me. I saw my dr the very next day and she confirmed that she sent it to the right pharmacy and had also put in that I had 5 refills, so the girl just wasted my time for absolutely no reason. But besides the stupidity, everyone just looks and acts like they hate their life and are extremely unhelpful in every possible way.
Absolutely terrible! I drove up to the window at the drive thru and verified my son's birthdays for their prescriptions. I then waited a half hour while the pharmacy techs looked out the window confused as they passed by. I finally hitting the call button to find out what was the issue just to find out that my prescriptions were sitting on the counter at the window.
Yesterday this pharmacy gave me the complete wrong prescription. They gave me someone else’s medicine. I have a 3 week old and a toddler and came down with Mastitis. My doctor called in the prescription for an antibiotic to the pharmacy and my mom went to pick up the medicine for me since I was feeling so rotten and in pain. When she dropped off the medicine they had given her a prescription that was not for me. It was for another lady with the same last name. Thankfully I looked and checked before I took any medicine. This could have been really bad and is an error that is making me switch pharmacies.
People are friendly and nice. The wait for scripts is usually not more than 20 minutes. Drive-thru is nice.
People are generally nice, but the pharmacy is the worst. They never even start filling prescriptions until I call up there, even if hours have passed since they were sent in. Also takes insanely long to count out pills. Over 3 hours this time. Why the hell does it take 3 hours to count out pills? I'd give 0 stars if I could.
