So, the line is horrible, usually there is only 1 cashier working and the rest of the crew are doing their "jobs" like: check inventory, move things from point A to B, etc.. Meanwhile, 10 people are waiting in the line.. for 1 cashier.. After you standing there for about 5 mins not moving a little, they will add 1 more cashier to the desk.. Like they are doing you a favor.. FYI there are 6 check out computer but I never saw more than 2 operating.
Never have enough cashier coverage during the evening rush and on weekends. Long lines even for prescriptions. Front door isn't wide enough for 2 people to pass through at the same time & half the time someone is blocking. They renovated the store, which is an improvement, but prices seem to be higher as a result. And really? Having employees post reviews to try to bring up rating? That's just sad.
This place is great. Yeah, at times it can get busy and theres only one register open, but the prices are great, most employees are helpful and hard working, and the music they play is always on point. People around this area are just uptight and extra. They should appreciate that the employees take more time out of their day to make it possible for rite aid to be open 24 hours. So i would stop with the negative reviews and just learn to appreciate a little more.
Lines are way too long. There’s an older manager in the afternoon who is not only rude to customers but her own employees. Everytime I shop there overnight, the foul odor of an employee can be smelled 3-4 aisles down. The security guy at night is a joke, I’ve seen people shoplifting and got away because he’s so big it takes him a long time to walk.
Its getting really frustrating with the pharmacy at this rite-aid. I am one more delay away from switching pharmacists. Completely away from Rite-aid Every time I must wait over 5 days for my prescriptions to be filled after the doctor has already sent it to them. This is an ongoing issue and if someone has a monthly prescription they should have the medications in advance. It is not like me to miss my medication but with this pharmacy its an ongoing issue. STAY AWAY!
Huge line at the register, moving very slowly, cashiers working in slow motion half-asleep. Amazing disregard for customers. No self checkout like at CVS to alleviate the issue.
Very friendly staff! I have been shopping here for about 2 years now and I have to say that these are some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met. Mohammed who I believe is the manager, always greets me when I’m there and any suggestions I ever made to him or if I needed a sale item for the day, he would always go out of his way to help me out and make sure I leave there with a smile on my face. The other guy who’s usually there I believe he’s a supervisor I believe his name is either Read or Raid I might be spelling it wrong, is just as friendly and helpful as Mohammed and also goes out of his way to help me out as well! I have to say when I’ve been in other rite aids, some of the managers or supervisors usually have some sort of ego problem, so it’s a welcome sight to have two guys in the same store who understand how to treat a customer right.
This Riteaid is the best one in Brooklyn. Clean, friendly staff, and some great managers. One of the managers over there is such a hard worker, and is always quick to help a customer, even if it looks like he has a lot to do. Great atmosphere every time I walk in.
I love this Rite Aid. I go almost every day. The ladies at the pharmacy are very helpful. I don't like to pay for my stuff up front though...they are way too slow and the line is always long. I still love my Rite Aid.
Very bad experience for my friend and me. Three employees accused us of shoplifting two items after we paid for something else. We were rudely approached and they demanded we open our bags and show where we put the two items back. They found nothing and no apologies followed. We won’t be going back to this store EVER again! Very disappointed; the staff badly needs professional training...
