Rite Aid with parking in the Italian Market area. The store is fairly well stocked with all the pharmacy essentials. Personal care, grocery items, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, cosmetics, make up, first aid, greeting cards, pain relief, and more. The pharmacy offers Covid vaccines, flu shots, as well as the Rx services. Get the Rite Aid Wellness card and earn 20% off on every purchase!
The Rite Aid staff is exceptionally courteous and responsive to customer requests. The pharmacist actually called me when the Covid vaccines first came out to see if I wanted one. And then when they had them in he called again so I could go right in and get my shot. I call on Sunday mornings to have the Sunday paper put aside for me, and again it is done with a smile. I am so lucky to live so close to such a great store!
Friendly, service-oriented neighborhood drug store with a large parking lot near the Italian Market. Use their Amazon locker site for safe package pickup. Staff smiled and welcomed an elderly local shopping with her tiny dog in the shopping cart. Go-to store for emergency milk, bread, and other food necessities plus permanent Tastykake display by the register.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would, for almost a year I been getting the same birth control. They refuse to keep it in stock, then I was told that the birth control I ordered they gave to someone else. I have to go days without my next pill. The lady started yelling at me, saying it's all my fault for not calling and checking on my meds. This isn't the first time I had issues with there staff, months ago they would just hang up on people. Or put the phone on the counter and just wait for me to hang up or just hang up after waiting. I saw them do this in person and reported it, nothing was done for 5 months. My mom and I had to play phone tag, taking turns to try to get ahold of someone. When I had covid and needed my breathing treatment meds, we had to play phone tag for 3 days. Taking turns for me to get my meds ordered! I was exposed and so was my mom so we couldn't just go in person. I am switching after today, she yelled at me to the point I started crying and she didn't stop after that. DO NOT GO HERE
It's hard to get a parking spot, even though rite aid has a personal parking lot for customers. It seems the Italian market customers use the parking lot as well even handicap. Rite aid employees are not going to do anything even though there's a new Blum Towing sign. Also it seems you don't have to wear mask. Horrible
After one night where I witnessed a disturbing incident where the cashier appeared to be stalked and intimidated by a customer, sending her to the back of the store in tears while that lurker player innocent.... And on another day I was told to leave my kick-scooter outside where it would be stolen when I stopped by to pick up some small items. This was my fifth stop of the day and also represents the only time I was stopped for bringing the scooter into a store. I left after informing the cashier I did not have to shop there and in fact was no going to shop there and as a parting gift I even left an f-bomb for all the people standing in line to appreciate. No more of my money for your store where the employee taking my money is different each time I go there. A miserable place that I will avoid shopping at. Also a HUGE waste of space in this neighborhood, open parking lots in this neighborhood are not needed and are a blight. tear this store down.
The best rite aid in Philadelphia! The employees are welcoming and brighten up my day when I see them/talk to them! All the employees genuinely care about how their customers are doing. If you live in Bella Vista or Queen Village and you dont go to the 9th & Catherine rite aid, you are missing out!! Love my rite aid!!!
The pharmacy here is amazing. Both pharmacists are great, customer oriented and give u the small pharmacy feel. Thank you. Overall the store is well maintained and easily shopped as well.
Security guard followed my friend and I all around the store even up to and through checkout. No older citizens will be shop lifting from this location.
