Story

It's not worth it. The buildings are in terrible condition and have not been updated since they were first converted to apartments 20 years ago! Any updates that they do now are ONLY COSMETIC! They are GETTING RID OF TENANTS and the cheap rent to make way for pricier units that fall apart once you move in. Don't fall for that "we are under new management" bull shit. THE SAME IDIOTS WHO WORKED THERE BEFORE THE DOCTOR DIED ARE STILL WORKING THERE! All they want is your money and will say anything they have to in order to get you into one of their crappy units. Once they have you in the unit, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get the sloppy management team to send someone out to change something as simple as a lightbulb in the common hallways. Cosmetic work does not fix plumbing, it does not fix electrical, and it does not fix the dilapidated condition of the 100 year old buildings. All their cosmetic changes will do for you is give you a leaky ceiling when it rains/ or more commonly, when your upstairs neighbor uses the bathroom sink. The allure of living in the city is not worth being treated like shit. My advice, get a roommate and split the rent with a reputable management company. You'll have more fun with a friend, and you won't be stuck dealing with the untrained, and uneducated people who staff their management team.
