River Oaks Shopping Center

I love shopping! Said me never. When you need to to though you might as well keep it local. The small business owners in this center will work hard to make sure you return as a happy customer.

Parking is hard to secure after 10am, watch where you park towing is real. Overall, great place to shop for those rare finds

The shopping center has a lot of upscale places to visit and covers a wide range of brands within the various storefronts. I've enjoyed the outdoor seating and easy parking at the Starbucks and Marble Slab Creamery there, and Barnes and Noble is another favored hangout, with Wi-Fi, 2 story views, and a very nice eatery inside too. There are dozens of other great places along West Grey and the area attracts a lot of wealthy shoppers and peoplewatchers. The general area seems to be patrolled regularly as well people seem to be willing to be more relaxed and stay longer at whatever they are doing. Overall a very nice area of Houston with lots to offer.

Great atmosphere but terrible drivers. If it's your first time in the area, you may have a bit of trouble maneuvering and following signs. Be patient, keep calm, enjoy the area. Also, Starbucks everywhere.
