Receptionist with braids and glasses turned away my sick son due to the doctor not taking my insurance on a Monday? Have never had an issue with this before at any of the offices. Stating, well we have other patients and how is the doctor going to get paid? Who says that? There should be exceptions for situations like this when a nurse tells me to come in they can squeeze me in and than it’s a no last minute. Zero help whatsoever and not even an offer to help find us another appointment in a different location. And a manager is in a meeting while you have people waiting? Worst customer ever experienced from this person, I wish I got there name.
The worst experience I've ever had with a medical provider. We brought our son here for his first well visit and I couldn't even tell you which pediatrician we saw because she never introduced herself. I got a bad feeling when we walked in and the office was very dingy and didn't look particularly clean. The pediatrician came into the room and said our baby lost too much weight and we would have to take him back to the hospital which was within the normal range when we saw another pediatrician, he had terrible jaundice he had a mild case resolved by feeding and sunlight, and walked out of the room without asking us if we had any questions or addressing any of our concerns. This would be a terrible experience for any parents but particularly for first time ones. The only positive thing I can say about the office is that the nurse was great. I would avoid this office at all costs.
Need a copy of your kid's medical records for school enrollment? Best of luck getting that request squared away. They literally have no idea who to speak to or who to transfer the call to to even attempt the most basic of service requests. I'm going on a week trying to get a copy of my child's immunization record. Pretty basic right? The staff WILL disconnect the call or leave you on hold hoping you give up on waiting the minute they have no idea how to fulfill a request. Steer wide and clear of this place.
These pediatrics since the change to optum has bern providing really bad service in terms of estimation appointment time. U have to minimum wait for 30-45 minutes to get in and then they keep waiting you inside for another 30-45 minutes. The staff is rude and definitely taking ip more patients than their capacity. If you are planning a weekday appointment here in middle of your office just be patient or look for other options.
Terrible experience with billing. They incorrectly billed me for something that my insurance covered because they sent the wrong code to the insurance. Their operator told me I couldn't dispute the charge with them and only via email, I sent multiple emails to the dispute department and every time I was told they would get back to me. They never got back to me and instead sent my bill to collections. Do not recommend working with them.
Very poor customer service, not interested in the patient at all. We took our daughter for a well visit and there didn’t seem at all interested in her as a patient. They were only doing things by the checklist, without any explanation. Will not recommend this place at all.
Staff here don’t care about patients appointment timing and make you wait even though there are no patients ahead of you. They literally don’t care how long you wait. Just for well visit, they will take 2 hours. Not coming back here ever again and won’t recommend anyone to even try it out.
The docs are good but dealing with the front staff makes it not worth the visit... Front of house is a nightmare to deal with. They are rude, unorganized, and have no idea what’s going on. You’re told one thing on the phone by the nurse, then the front staff is clueless with an attitude. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. I have had so many bad encounters with Riverside front staff at multiple locations. They truly don’t care about the people that come in and it shows. Ended up going to CityMD urgent care instead to get what I needed so I didn’t have to deal with them again.
Horrible provider after Optum take over. A month of wait for blood test review call and they have the gall to screw it up! Stay away from the place! Find another provider and move on!
The doctor I worked with was alarmist and frankly very judgmental. He completely misdiagnosed me because of preconceived judgements he had about my personal life as a young woman. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable and I wish I had never stepped foot in there.
