Riverview Swimming Pool

Life guards sit there and don’t pay attention,they sit kids out for no reason. Bathrooms are dirty and smelly. We want to have a pool to enjoy, our town can’t have anything nice!

Went there with my 3 year old and 15 year old who LOVE to swim based upon the hours they had posted. They wouldn't let us in because it wasn't "open swim" for another hour. There were only 4 other people in the entire pool. They turned us away as my 3 year bawled and begged to 'play in the bubbles'. I even has them call the manager and spoke to him personally who refused to let us in. The customer service was appalling. There's a special place for jerks who can do that to a kid. We will never go here again.

We have joined the pool every year for the past 4 years. The price is really good for a family of 6, especially when we are able to drop our older kids off to swim for a few hours a few days a week. I wish it would open earlier in the day - not sure why it doesn't open until 1. Also, I don't know why the city of Clinton doesn't ever have any information about the pool on its website. I'd like to know what day it opens, when it is closed, and when it closes early due to swimming functions, etc. I do agree with the other review about the women's locker room/bathroom area - it is disgusting, every year, every time we've been there. The only other thing is the baby pool area is often pretty gross too - the filters don't do a great job at catching all the bugs and grass and it doesn't seem to get skimmed - I mean, it is a very small area - I don't think it would take long to skim it every now and then. My older kids do love going to the pool and we'd love to see it improved, but the areas of concern haven't stopped us from going yet. It has something for all ages, from the divewell to the splash park. It's a good place to spend a hot afternoon.

The pool is very clean and the staff is professional and #riendly. I never miss a day at the pool unless the weather prohibits it. Greg runs a tight ship that reflects on the entire pool experience. Already bought my season tickets for this year.
