I can’t recommend this office highly enough. I had had some really awful and traumatic dental experiences over the past few years from over-billing to unnecessary work, which made me very wary of the dentist. Dr. Rosenkranz was fantastic—the hygienist did a thorough job, he didn’t make up any dental problems that didn’t exist, and had great bedside manner. When my crown broke, I was able to get an emergency appointment the next morning and Dr. Rosenkranz referred me to his colleague Dr. Mermelstein. I was a little hesitant because I couldn’t get in for about two weeks, but it was absolutely worth it. Dr. Mermelstein did exceptional work and he’s funny and personable too!. Used a high tech crown scanner so no messy impressions. The crown was so exact it didn’t even have to be adjusted when it was placed. Will definitely be returning to this office for my regular cleanings.
Overall great dental office! Receptionist staff is always kind and professional. Same with the dentists and dental assitants. I always feel welcome there. They have also fixed my permanent retainer a few times when I was in a pinch. Dr. Rozenkranz and Dr. Eisenberger especially are great! I feel like they really listen to my concerns and questions as a patient. I've had a lot of bad experiences with doctors and dentists before, but I'm always happy to come here!
The best dental cleaning I have had. Dr. Rosenkranz is a very friendly guy who wants to make sure you are receiving the best service possible. He is there to meet your dental needs with honesty, transparency, and quality work.
I absolutely LOVE this practice. They do not preform any of the unnecessary procedures, they do not fill the cavities that don't exist, and their prices are reasonable. I've been a patient for over a decade. Once I had an emergency, broke my 2 front teeth. Someone else would have taken advantage by saying they need to take the rest out, put crowns, etc. Dr. Rosenkranz said that luckily I have enough original teeth left that they can do 2 simple fillings. I was also scheduled for just 1 day after it happened, first thing in the morning. Love them and trust them.
My family and I have been going to this practice for almost ten years as of 2021. He is just a wonderful person. The staff are friendly and they are awesome with my kids - from young child stage to early teens. I have not had one bad experience or left feeling like they weren't doing their best. The other stuff is great too: clean office, never waiting long, professional staff, helpful with billing questions. Also a huge really huge plus for me: they are open on Sundays!
Dr. Rosenkranz is one of the most popular dentists in Park Slope. It's easy to see why. The office is efficient, effective, and you'll never wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. The best part is Dr. Rosenkranz himself: He's a dentist with a heart of gold. He has a warm, endearing disposition that can set anyone's mind at ease. I've visited to office twice during the pandemic. Both times, I felt completely safe and at ease through the experience. You're appointment time is not shared with anyone else, therefore you'll be the only person waiting to be seen. Masks and a temperature checks are required upon entry. The staff are fully guarded with PPE the entire time, and sanitize between patrons.
It was my first visit to Dr. Rosenkranz. I had been postponing my oral exam for 7 years. I've never been a big fan of going to the dentist. Previous bad experiences with other dentists made me feel a little bit nervous about having to repeat those moments. However, everything has changed since I met this great professional. Since the beginning, he has given me all the information about procedures, costs, possible discomforts... He is really skilled and puts a lot of attention in not causing pain while working. Before starting, he always tries to create a relaxed atmosphere. Honestly, I never imagined feeling so calm before and during a dentist appointment. I had an oral exam, x-rays, preventive cleaning and he put me a new crown and the results have been excellent. I couldn't get the root canal done with his endodontist because he was not in my insurance network. Definitely, I've found my dentist. Don´t hesitate to make an appointment with him.
Let me start by saying that my last visit to a dentist was a long time ago, only because of the traumatic experience I had back then. Upon my partner’s insistence, I booked an 11 AM appointment with Park Slope Dental and Dr. Rosenkranz. Slightly panicked, I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment. There was less than 5 minutes of paperwork to process as a new patient, as they had previously taken my info over the phone. I was seen by 11:10. As we all know what wait times can be, I appreciate the office not over scheduling, and seeing me in a prompt manner. A+ for this start to my experience. I was then taken for X-rays. A few too many for my taste, but whatever the doctor needs for treatment, I accent to. The technician was very gentle, and patient when I had to take a break. Then came the cleaning. The lady that did this for me took the time to point out which areas would take more work due to my not having seen a dentist in ages. I really appreciated this as it prepared me for what was next, which somehow helps me cope. She also allowed for a break when I need one. She half-jokingly said “don’t run away” when I asked for a bathroom break...pretty funny. She was kind, gentle, and most importantly, thorough. Lastly I saw the doctor, who has one of the most effusive yet genuine styles of speaking with patients. He didn’t admonish me for not seeing a dentist all these years, but simply counseled me on the state of my teeth and best practices. My last dentist visit, I was told that I had 13 cavities, and that I needed to come back for treatment on the 11 that the doctor hadn’t addressed already. This time, many years later, I was told that I have none. That is an honest doctor who isn’t going to drill for profit, and I appreciate and recommend this office to any and all.
My first visit to the office was over a month ago. I cant believe I am saying this about a visit to the dentist, but it was really pleasant. The office is clean and modern/ fully updated. The staff members answering the phone were helpful and polite. The front staff were very responsive and nice. The supportive staff were professional and gave me an excellent cleaning. Dr. Rosenkranz was really friendly, pleasant, and even took care of some discomfort caused by a poorly packed filling. I returned today to take care of a cavity. I was treated by Dr. Mermelstein who is currently my favorite dentist. I have had some bad dental experiences getting fillings and this was a corrective experience. He was very gentle and accommodating. He shared some interesting stories about his travels but made sure not to talk to me while drilling. He even had some Netflix on. Overall best dental experience yet. If you need fillings I strongly recommend you use this office every person I Interacted with was great! I sent my husband here as well.
Dr.Rosenkranz is by far one of the best dentist in NYC! I’ve changed insurance plans and had to go to different dentist. No one compares he’s so friendly and has great patient treatment skills. Luckily my insurance plan changed again!
