The food was amazing!!! The fish tacos were epic. The scallops were also wonderful. The food came out very fast. However the waitress we had was not nice. It took forever for her to come back for our drink order. When we asked for help on finding a specific dish she brushed us off.

ALWAYS a FANTASTIC experience! Top notch staff and outstanding drink artists and servers. Outstanding attention to detail and love the experience more every time we go. The Buffalo Trace Pairing Dinner last night was no exception. Absolutely crazy good! Literally didn't miss a beat and we can't wait for the next one! A huge thank you to the entire RoXa team! Your efforts do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Well done!

Great ambiance and vibe to the restaurant as a whole. Place was pretty busy and only a few 2 person tables were open at 6pm. I went and sat at the bar and got exceptional service from both bartenders. I got the fish tacos cod and truffle fries for dinner. The truffle fries were excellent with the perfect texture and taste. The fish tacos were superb and definitely worth getting. I got the special for desert which was a brownie with caramel, whipped cream, and salted pretzel pieces. Everything was excellent and worth a try if you are in town visiting or a local.

REALLY great food and cocktails. We enjoyed sampling different drinks and couldn't resist dessert. Everything was amazing and the service was spot on. Can't wait to return.

Came here for a birthday dinner and it was an amazing experience. We enjoyed every detail included in the entree, shared plates and drinks. Can't wait to come back and try their pork belly taco

Small restaurant with a chill atmosphere. Great food, unique drinks and friendly service! A great spot if you are out for a date night or a small gathering with friends while in downtown Des Moines.

Went there last night and it was awesome! Abby and Devin were the bartenders and there recommendations were awesome, also very friendly! Highly recommend the "Smoking Gun". Applewood smoked bourbon, maple bitters... It was out of this world! Will go back!

Outstanding! Cool, dark, chill vibe. Drinks were well done, complex and delicious! Highly recommended the Smoked Margarita. Deconstructed Nachos, Crispy Shrimp and Chicken Sliders were delicious! Bread Pudding was a fantastic way to end the meal. Drew waited on us and was fun, informative and timed his visits well. RoCA is our new favorite spot!

I love the food here, it is freaking AMAZING!!! I have never had a bad dish. Usually need a reservation to get in because it is that good. If you haven't been, it is most definitely worth the money and should be on your Des Moines restaurant bucket list. My only complaint is that it's loud and cramped inside and intimate dinners don't work because you can't hear each other talk.

It's one of our favorite places in the city! Completely unique drink selections. My favorite drink ever is the smoking gun! Food is always delicious. My 1 gripe about the food is there really isn't any dairy free options. I love the painting of the train tracks!!
