Vivian's Diner & Drinks is a modern diner located in the Historic Hotel Kirkwood in downtown Des Moines. Our goal is to create an upscale but casual dining experience for our guests in a one-of-a-kind restaurant. We have taken classic diner favorites and added modern twists with depth of flavors. Vivian's is committed to serving the highest quality of food and beverages with a comfortable price structure, served by our professional and outgoing staff who strive for excellence.

As a restaurant 5 stars. We had burgers which I'd give a 4/5. Atmosphere, decore, and service 5/5. Looking forward to coming back for breakfast.

Great atmosphere... Our server, Abby, was very, very good!.  We had the chiliquiles, east coast Benedict, toad in a hole, and a basic eggs meal... Food was cooked perfectly, portion size was great.  Top to bottom, a fantastic brunch experience... You'll love it here!

Trendy restaurant with good food. Nothing was extraordinary but the price was good for the food. The ambiance of the restaurant was modern.

First time to Vivian's and it was a great experience. We had original and veggie Benedict and both were delicious and the roasted potatoes were amazing. The owner Jeff and manager PJ were awesome. The space is lovely. Will definitely be back.

This is still a relatively new place but it's a good addition to the downtown scene. It's a cool place to pull up a seat at the bar, order breakfast/brunch and read the paper on a weekend morning. I've been here a handful of times because of the friendly staff and the Iowa Mule is awesome.

Beautiful atmosphere but not so awesome food or service. First and last time visiting.

First time visitor. Was amazed at the decor. Drinks and food were amazing. Our waitress was great and warned us about the parking meter and enforcement. Went out of her way to make sure we had a great brunch. Would definitely recommend.
