I've never been to a church that marketed for my business and attendance like this before, and I grew up in non-denominational evangelical churches. Twice during service, an announcement was made that if this was your first time attending you would get free cookies, and if it was your second time attending you would receive a $10 gift certificate to Chick-fil-A. My friend who brought me told me she received $20 for her second attendance. Disgusting. The pastor took verses so far out of context, it was jaw dropping. There was absolutely no biblical eduction in the sermon. The pastor said your heavenly riches are dependent on your church attendance record and your financial contributions to his building. I had to pray for strength to be able to stay in my seat and not jump up, gather my children, and run away. Entertainment and marketing are clearly the goals of this church. The only Godly presence felt in this church was that of the Almighty Dollar.

I knew my children and I were home the moment we stepped through the door. Pastor Dean does a wonderful job, the sermons are thought provoking and engaging. Tons of scripture in every sermon. We searched many churches before we entered the doors and we just knew we were home. The Children's ministry is amazing as well.

This church is more for show, and the pastor lacks a depth of knowledge. He doesn’t refer to the Greek or hewbrew and teaches more so what he wants than what is true (which is very sad when he is a teacher at a bible college in town). He likes to glorify himself quite a bit. The whole ordeal is disgusting as they literally bribe people to come with cookies and gift cards. I would never title to a church that spend my precious tithe money on gift cards to give people in order to keep them coming back.
Worship felt pretty dead too. The leader jumps around on stage and is clearly into it. The rest of the people look half asleep and ready for worship to just be over.
The building also appears half done. The floor looks junky and the walls are white and look tacky. It looks like a cheap job that no one bothered to fork out the rest of the money to make the building look welcoming and make me what to come back.

Welcoming and comfortable. Very life relevant message, engaging even for our tween & teen children. Whole family loved it. Music was wonderful.

What I love about this church (In no particular order)
1. The staff are some of the hardest-working people I've ever met.
2. The gospel message goes out every week
3. Other than the facility, no debt (before you judge - do you have a mortgage?) and their finances are transparent.
4. Big vision that depends on God's involvement
5. Leadership is bold and creative in outreach
6. It isnt ALL about the programs. Dean stopped doing things that exhaust people and haven't met a need or built God's Kingdom (trunk or treat) and encouraged RFC people to find ways of interacting with and being accessible loving neighbors.
We attended 12 years before moving.
My wife and I helped with set-up and tear-down, nursery, kids, youth, A/V, worship, benevolence, recovery, marriage coaching, outreach, and even sat the bench to rest.
No church is perfect but this is a good one.
