Church of St. Michael the Archangel

Lovely church; Both Pastors were warm and welcoming! Nice to see a female Reverend! Bright and beautiful inside with the Alter overlooking a pine tree grove! Not too modern a service for those of us who still remember things like the Greeting and Proclamation of Faith; Also though plenty of singing and the Organ Music was right out of the story books - Great and Gleaming filling one side of the Sanctuary with glittering steel that was played well by someone who REALLY WANTED to praise GOD in the HIGHEST! All in all, a wonderful experience, and best of all they started 15 min late for those who got lost trying to make it on time! Thank You church family for being so kind to strangers!! The coffee after the service was also a welcome blessing as it allowed the opportunity to meet folks and make friends of people who would have otherwise been strangers. Very reminiscent of the by-gone days when a Church Family was the host of your friends not quite as close as blood family, but nearly! In a city of mobile families and ever changing faces it is beyond nice to have found a place where it would seem you are welcome in His Name and for His Honor by people who know what is feels like to come in out of the Cold! If your looking for a new Church Family- I hope your experience will be as grand as mine as this seems a good place to call Home.

If you want to experience a very welcoming church, St Mikes is one. There are activities for all ages, including adult forum on Sundays for adults, Sunday school for kids and lots of small group activities like bible study, hiking, biking, book groups, and many more.
