Went there for karaoke on a Wednesday night. Everyone that went up to sing was cheered like they were a rock star. Good time was had by all. Had some fries and they were good as fries go. Didn't take long once I ordered. I recommend you come early to get a seat at the bar. It fills up first fast.Food: 5/5
What a great place to bring friends to have a good time! The karoke nights are so much fun and the place gets crowded so show up early if you want a table. Karoke starts at 9! This is more of a place to come drink and sing, not as much a dinner place. The drinks are pretty good, some of the food is not good, while other menu items are. The chicken nuggets are over cooked and so are the burgers so I do not recommend getting these items. The popcorn shrimp is really good. The wings are also really good, though some people wish they were spicier. The honey mustard is really tasty! I would compare the fries here to Five Guys fries, but with less grease. Parking: Plenty of street parking with some free areas and some paid areas. It depends on what street you pick!
I felt very comfortable here! Good energy with excellent service. Delicious food and fast. Listen to the karaoke was amazing! I'll be back! I really recommend it
We came for dinner and having fun with the karaoke. We don’t drink, so when the waitress came with the menu, she asked what we wanted, I said I wanted some water because that’s what I drink when I eat. She was super rude, and said that we had to spend at least $20 , so “only water? No”, super rude. Well, we had friends coming and we decided to find another place that treats their customers in a polite way. Sadly, not coming back anymore
I visited this place with my friends to have a fun karaoke night and have dinner, but unfortunately the waitress was SO RUDE! She brought the menu and at the same moment she already asked for our order the menu was still with her, so we asked for some water and then we could see the menu and figure out what we would order, but then she looked at us and told us that we couldn’t order water since we should spend at least $20 per person, and she basically kicked us out of the place! We couldn’t even see the menu!!! I’ve never felt so disrespectful in my life… I’m not coming back at all!
Alexandria’s absolute worst, guaranteed. The staff were extremely rude, I’ve never been more disrespected at a restaurant. One of our group members tried to order food but the waitress wouldn’t let them because she said we all had to order $20 worth immediately or otherwise leave. We were trying to get clarification on the policy from the waitress and figure out our order when the lovely manager walked out and screamed in my face for us to leave. We wanted a relaxing night of karaoke and would have ordered food and drink, but instead we were dramatically kicked out for not ordering fast enough. I’m reading that plenty of others are having a similar experience. Understand if you have a policy, but be clear and polite with your customers. Unprofessional and disgraceful. I am embarrassed for you for the way you resort to running a business.
Fun place. Went for karaoke, dancing and a couple of beers. Friends had shots and got drunk, they made the place more likely than it would have been. Good bartender. DJ didn't play requested song even after another $5 tip but Latin Dance music wasn't the vibe. Oh well. Would go back.Service: 4/5
This place strictly enforces their policy of sitting down at 20$ a person, so if you aren’t spending at least 20$ you can only sit at the bar. Not worth it if you want just hang out with the locals and I am a local; the male waiter came up to us after we sat and said we have to spend that amount, even though we were considering spending more money than just initial desserts. I will not be visiting and this place lost my business
Rock It Grill was a fun spot to enjoy a bite to eat. The seating and interior are just your basic bar style arrangements. I wasn’t super impressed with the food had a mushroom Swiss burger and potato skin appetizer, there didn’t seem to be a lot of flavor. Staff were fine, although my water didn’t get refilled during our time there. We didn’t stay for karaoke, but many say that it is one of the best places around for karaoke with some fairly talented singers participating frequently.
Going to Rock it Grill this week was one of my least favorite restaurant experiences. To begin with the service was subpar, not sure if they were short staff but the waitress’ attitude was not that pleasant either. I ordered a raspberry lemonade in the picture but I wasn’t too pleased with the taste. I ordered another cocktail, a Caribbean mule. The drink was not fully described on the menu so I asked the waitress, Valerie, and it was almost as if I was bothering her. The second drink wasn’t that great so I decided not to order anymore cocktails. Even though I made that statement, she proceeded to say that they are not making me any more cocktails because it’s a waste of alcohol. Completely rude. For my meal, I had a salmon burger which was decent. Overall my experience wasn’t the greatest.
