After finding out that I'd need half my head shaved for an upcoming brain surgery next month, I spent about 6 hours TOTAL looking for a place I could trust to shave my head. I've been disappointed by other stylists in the Nob Hill area that chose a look for me that THEY decided suited my style, but wasn't what I actually wanted. This procedure I have coming up? It's traumatizing enough. I'll have a giant scar on the side of my head that could destroy my self-confidence if I just let the surgeon shave it himself, like he planned to. I wanted to get a jumpstart on the whole thing. So, I found Natalie. After seeing her other reviews and skimming through all of the photos they'd posted, I was confident that she'd give me what I needed. My hair is a huge part of my identity, and I really needed some self-assurance that I wouldn't hate my appearance after surgery. Spoiiiiler. I don't. It's gorgeous. My jaw is on the floor. She booked for me for 2 appointment slots, gave me a consultation that included all the right leading questions to make sure I was getting what I really wanted, and listened to my every word. Our conversation was never dry or forced, and she gave me everything I asked for and more. How do you ease someone's mind about BRAIN SURGERY? You give them a cut that was MEANT for them and show the utmost patience and confidence behind the sheers. I don' t know what to think. I'm so happy. She took time out of her day, after the shop was already dealing with so much, and she styled me...... FOR F R E E. She told me that she'd decided a few days ago that she wasn't going to charge me. She wouldn't accept my money. Don't worry, I'm paying double when I come back. And I will be back. She just changed the way I see myself up until my surgery date and she wouldn't take my money. Natalie provided great color and cut service for both my daughter and I! She is knowledgeable and was able to advise on a proper plan for achieving the color i want. Very attentive to clients wishes/needs. I am excited to have found such a great salon and stylist. The salon atmosphere is pretty cool too! Will definitely be returning.

Natalie is amazing! My husband and I were badly in need of hair care after traveling for several months and living outside the US. Really wanted to get ourselves looking presentable before attending a conference in Santa Fe but it was stressful to pick a stylist when we didn’t know anyone in town for a personal recommendation. After combing through dozens of reviews for Albuquerque and Santa Fe stylists we connected with Natalie and we lucked out - she was able to see us on the one day we would be there. She was super friendly and so knowledgeable. Plus, it didn’t take forever like previous salons/stylists - I am an impatient salon client and like to be in and out ASAP and Natalie was super efficient on top of being extremely talented. Also just a very cool person with great local recommendations! Highly recommend her!!!

I have been getting my hair done by Scarlet and her team for what seems like forever! Is 20 years forever? There is nothing too "strange, outrageous, crazy" or whatever that they can't do. I have cut 20" and went platinum with turquoise. Any hair fashion or style is possible- if your hair is able. You can also trust the professionals to give honest feedback regarding any drastic changes you may be considering.
