Rocky Mount State Historic Site

Extremely friendly workers and amazing actors. I get bored easily when listening to people talk about a location but the people they have volunteering/working here know what they're doing. They keep anyone at any age engaged. If you're looking for somewhere to take photos this is an awesome place.

Went with my daughters class, we really enjoyed it. Split into groups of 7-8 kids and each group did an activity. My group had fireplace cooking. All the kids were excited.

Great staff and amazing presentation. Have to stop by Rocky Mount if traveling through the area. You will be glad you did.

Went last year with a group, it was alright, area was clean. Sheep need to be sheered, their wool looked matted and very dirty but ah they didn't look like they were bad off. Most everyone was friendly, one woman wasn't quite so, depends on what questions you choose to ask I guess... Start talking about how they people they go on about were superstitious witches and they don't quite like that, but just wait till what all they try and show you to make you think good of it. Still was all in good fun for me, kids had fun. We really liked the bee hive on the glass where we could really have a gander at em. It's not as large as an area to walk around as I had expected but I'm a hard feller to please, this one was alright enough.

a nice small stop to add to any day trip. not a lot to see but interesting history
