Really happy with my experience at Rocky Mountain Dermatology. Very friendly and helpful staff. Scott is very personable and does a great job of explaining things.

I previously left a poor review and the next day was contacted by Brian Howe. I feel it is wrong to contact an individual after they leave a poor review without listening to the patient and working to resolve any issues they may have had. He is the Executive Director of Rocky Mountain Dermatology. He claimed my review was full of false information and opinion. He did not want to understand or correct the problem. He simply wanted me to remove my review or swing it in his favor. He is only concerned about profit margin and not the patients. I hope this revision to my review makes things clearer. I include facts as well as opinion in my review because I believe how the patent feels is important. The way information is conveyed is as important as the accuracy. These are facts. I had an appointment and was seen January 19, 2018. I waited less than five minutes to be called back. I waited for about 15 minutes in the office after answering preliminary question from the nurse. The P.A. knew what was wrong quickly upon inspection. Options were discussed and one was chosen. The prescription and pharmacy were chosen. I was told the price and when it would be ready. Four hours later I arrived at the pharmacy and they had no record of the prescription. The next day I called Rocky Mountain Dermatology and was directed to the prescription desk at 1:20 to find no answer. I tried again at 1:40 and was told they were still at lunch. The next day Brian Howe contacts me irate regarding a review he felt was opinionated and incorrect. He would not correct the issue until I gave him my detailed side of the story. When I tried he continually interrupted me and accused me of being dishonest. The prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. The price I was told was only 8% of the actual cost of the prescription. The prescription desk takes lunch breaks ranging from 12:00 to 2:30. These are my opinions of the staff and their service. The reception desk was helpful, kind, and efficient. Their service was impeccable. The nurse was kind. The nurse however, was the one who told me that it would be sent to my pharmacy and that it would be considerably less than it was. The P.A. seemed cold and distant. I do not feel he cares about his patients. When posed with question he seemed to almost make up the answers. He also repeatedly asked me the same questions as if not satisfied by my answer. I felt he judged me, my situation, and my decision to not choose his most expensive treatment option.

First time visiting, and while the building was spectacular, the service was more than a little lacking. I saw Dr. James Pratt, who I felt was dismissive and acted like he didn’t care at all about my concerns, let alone believe what I was telling him – the nurse was the same way, too. I’m rather disappointed, as I was hoping to find a good dermatologist whom I could trust in the valley. I haven’t heard good things about dermatologists in Logan in general, and these guys were no exception. Next, I’ll be trying my luck at the Budge Clinic, but they had a six week wait. Guess now I know why Rocky Mountain Dermatology was so available.
