Roman Malakov Diamonds

Roman Malakov are the absolute best in class. My husband went here for my engagement ring, wedding band and a couple diamond ring gifts. Their craftsmanship is unmatched. Their attention to detail is noticeable in all of their work.  I am very specific in my taste in jewelry and pay attention to even the finest details and they constantly exceed my expectations. I will never purchase jewelry from anywhere else. You know when you go here, it's money well spent since you're getting top of the line service and craftsmanship. Meir is also fantastic to work with. When creating custom pieces, he always understands what I'm looking for and executes perfectly. I never have any doubt that I'll absolutely love my piece upon seeing it for the first time. They are true artists at Roman Malakov.

I had the absolute BEST experience with Roman Malakov. I entered not knowing much about diamonds, what to look for, etc. Boris was very kind, helpful, and taught me a lot. From the second I stepped in there, I knew I was in good hands. I provided them with a range of what I was looking for and 2 days later they had a handful of options for me to look at. The final ring came out better than I could have expected. My now fiance can't stop looking at it. And, she said yes! 5 stars- highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect experience! I worked with Meir throughout the entire process and was more that satisfied. This was my first time purchasing piece of jewelry, in particular an engagement ring and he really helped simplify the process and made be feel comfortable with my decisions. The best part was that he was not pushy and really gave me the space to ask questions and guide the purchase. My fiancé and I did a ton of research on diamond stores in SF and NYC with a specific design in mind for my engagement ring. We went to 5+ jewelers, some of the high-end brand names and some local shops. We were delighted to work with Meir and find Roman Malakov. We were scared of getting judged for our age, as well as budget but Meir was the only one that heard and understood what we wanted, and designed the perfect ring with our preferences in mind. We enjoyed the experience so much, we decided to have our wedding bands designed there as well! Couldn’t be happier with the experience and outcome. They will always be our favorite jeweler and will have our lasting business.

He was so genuine and honest in helping him pick out the perfect ring, going as far as making changes to the ring after the purchase all within 4 days. We couldn’t be happier! Mier delivered the most beautiful wedding bands I have ever seen! And he did it in no more than a week and going beyond our expectations. He was very patient and thorough in the beginning showing us various options, and then he speeded up the customization process so that we could get the rings in time! I flew to New York from Chicago for 3 days with the intention of exploring the diamond district and all of the Instagram jewelers that I have followed. After day 1 I was exhausted and felt like the jewelers weren’t listening to what I wanted, and I was frustrated. In my notebook I had 5 places; prices for diamonds, and I rated the jewelers. Day 2 when I entered the diamond district I stopped in Roman Malakov after it not being on my initial list. Meir sat with me for 45 minutes, and listened to what i wanted. When I left to look at other places I knew that I wanted to work with him; if we could meet on pricing. When it came to decision time we met in the middle on pricing; and that was fine with me because I knew he’d execute my vision. Long story short in front of 20,000 people at the Golden State Warriors game in San Francisco I presented this masterpiece of a ring to a standing ovation. Definitely visit them, and even if you can get better pricing that doesn’t mean you’ll get a better piece of jewelry.

I squeezed in a visit to the Diamond District while attending a family wedding in Jersey City. So glad I found Michael and Roman Malakov Diamonds. They were able to see me as a walk in, spent time with me to help me find the right "upgrade" diamond for my wife's engagement ring as we celebrated our 10-year anniversary. They set everything up beautifully... helped plan how to re-purpose her original 1 carat stone, how to fit the new stone onto the old ring. Everything was smooth and we felt like family. Great communication throughout all the steps of the process. Even in Florida, we consider this a relationship that we will keep for many years to come. Can't recommend these guys enough.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my NEW fiancé, with his super busy and exhausting schedule, purchasing this ring was the easiest thing he had to do. After strolling down the diamond district, Roman Malakov caught his attention and it was basically a done deal. In 45min, he described exactly what he wanted and Roman Malakov created it for him. It was a stress free and enjoyable experience, he couldn’t have been any happier to enter Roman Malakov store that day. Roman was attentive, patient and he saw the vision and created it beautifully. And the price was exactly right! I was so impressed with the end result, it’s literally the most beautiful ring and made exactly for me. I cannot believe my NEW fiancé picked this ring out without much of any direction. This ring is exactly what I didn’t know I wanted. I absolutely love love love it. I’m so happy that it was a stress free experience, than you Roman Malakov. I believe that anything that stresses you out, isn’t meant to be. I’m so happy that this ring was meant just for me.
