Very wonderful place with kind employees and volunteers that help make a tough situation such as an ill child in the Augusta Children's Hospital a lot easier to manage. They have very clean, modern facilities, provide dinner for the families that are staying there nightly, provide free foods and drinks available 24/7 in community refrigerators, refrigerator and personal locker space to keep food and drinks for your family's personal use, toiletries (in case you forgot something or can't financially afford any at that time), well stocked, clean and safe toys and play areas for children as well as activities almost daily to help take your mind off of your troubles for a short time. They allow visitors but respect your need for rest, so quiet time is from 9pm to 9am daily. They also have free usage of washers and dryers, including detergent, bleach and fabric softeners, for your use as needed. Everyone greets you as you enter and leave and offer any assistance they may provide to make your stay as easy as possible. All of these wonderful services are provided to the families as needed when space is available for no charge whatsoever!! If possible, they would like for families to donate $20 per night of their stay if possible to assist with making the facility available to others in their time of need. I will add the Ronald McDonald House Charities to my list of yearly donation recipients( I give to charitable organizations when I receive an income tax refund) and when I update my will next month, I plan to leave provisions for a donation upon my death to help others as my family and friends have been helped by this organization. Please keep doing what you are doing in this organization because it is really needed and a definite help to people dealing with life threatening and/or life altering illnesses or accidents! 👏👏👏 May God bless the employees, volunteers and contributors to the Ronald McDonald House Charities anywhere they may be. 🙏⛪🕌🕍
