Ronald McDonald House - East House

Arranging our stay has been very easy and simple, I deeply appreciate the staff for helping us. This place allows families to find a sense of stability in what otherwise tends to be very challenging and uncertain times. Thanks Ronald McDonald House!

I can't even begin how to explain how grateful I am for the Ronald Mcdonald house!! I have 2 children with medical issue that bring us to Portland often. This place has made it almost a fun experience that my kids at least my 7 years old have started to look forward to. The staff is amazing! They feed you dinner, and provide space to store your own food. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are a ton of things to do for every age. They have laundry facilities. Game rooms, a library, a music room, 2 outside parks, and even a community garden for everyone to get fresh veggies from. Please, if you travel for medical reasons, call the Ronald McDonald House. And if you ever have a chance to donate, please consider doing so. Take it from someone who has gained so much from this place, they use every penny to ensure families and their sick children are well taken care of while dealing with such difficult things.

I was not aware of this program until recently. I am fortunate that there are amazing programs for people in need. I can't say enough great things about the Ronald McDonald house.

The Ronald McDonald House on Commercial Ave in Portland has been the biggest blessing for my family. They really have made an extremely tough situation less stressful. The staff is wonderful. I can't thank them enough for taking care of my family.

Great place with great people! My wife and I were privileged to stay here and have it as our home base while our son was in the hospital. There are coordinated events that happen frequently and people come in to help with meals as well. I came expecting a bed and left with so much more. They have a large shared kitchen, personal pantry and fridge space. Your room has a theme that was decorated by donors and I never had a cold shower! Whether you need to stay if you are from out of town and have a child in the hospital or you would like to volunteer, the Ronald McDonald House is a great place to do either!

I was there in March to donate pop tops.The younger gal didn't have much to say. I had a stroke in 99' and although my parents stayed in my room, The Ronald McDonald foundation did offer them a place if needbe. Therefore, this is MY way of giving back. Thank you

This place is awesome! Gave us a place to stay free of charge while our child was getting medical treatment. The staff is kind and helpful. Great rooms with different themes. Great shared kitchen to cook meals and free place to do your laundry too. Can say enough great things about Ronald McDonald House - they were really there for us when we needed them

What they do for the kids who are suffering and their families who are struggling is making a huge positive impact in so many lives. I've volunteered here several times and will again. Even if you're not a fan of McDonald's, you have to see the good in what their doing here, it's life changing for these kids and their families. They give the whole family a place to live while their little loved one is getting the treatment they need. This place saves lives.

It's clean and the staff is amazing very helpful. Loved the amenities there dinning hall and kitchen are amazing too. Beds were comfy. I hope no more people in my family need hospitals but if they did I would stay at Ronald McDonald house again no problems .
