We serve nearly 5,000 families each year at the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana while their children receive treatment at Indianapolis-area hospitals.
We provide a supportive home-away-from-home for families of children receiving medical care at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health and other area hospitals, and we champion programs that improve the health, education and well-being of children.
Our goal is to embrace all families with sick or injured children being treated in Indianapolis-area hospitals without regard to income. While the cost of operating a single room is $75 per night (based upon 2011 figures), families staying at the House are asked to make a modest donation of $15 per night. No family is ever turned away from the House if they are unable to pay.
