The Rose is home to Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation, Plan-B Theatre Company, Pygmalion Productions, Repertory Dance Theatre, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, and SB Dance.In addition to our Resident’s work, we host modern dance, theater, classical music, ballet, student recitals, and even U.S. Naturalization ceremonies. In addition, the Rose is an active film venue, hosting Utah Film Center events and festivals year-round and the Sundance Film Festival venue each January."

It was exciting to attend my first Sundance screening in such a lovely theatre, very well managed by friendly and efficient staff.
The theater was very nice. Great experience. Performance was exceptional. However, they kept the air temperature quite warm in the theater. Also, the water fountains were very warm water. Even washing hands in the bathroom, the water was very hot, almost burning.
Very well located and cozy theater with comfortable seating and good acoustics. Nice and friendly staff. Small in-house shop for drinks and treats. We attended the performance of the Dance Company IT'S BEEN A WHILE DANCE performing The Haunted Forrest. A very entertaining and well design piece by Jackie Nuttall with an unexpected but great ending.
Lovely venue. Theater is small enough that every seat would be lovely to watch a show. I filmed a show for JAKS theater company and had a wonderful experience with this place. Great location. Park was super easy just across the street. Beautiful theater and large stage. Love this place.
Amazing facilities & a world class theater. Repertory Dance Theater's community dance classes are well organized with West African class being the favorite. Salt Lake City is lucky to have such a great center for the arts.
See my Daughter Dance Group Performance their. Beautiful theaters staff was nice and considerate they had refreshments to purchase little pricey but it's a theater I enjoyed it a lot.
The building is beautiful and clean. There were ushers to direct us right to our seats. As a smaller venue, every seat in the house is a good seat.
Usually ok, but at the Kendall Mountain Film Festival everyone left the projection booth, and when the films glitched and it restarted the entire festival we had to sit and watched the first 3 films again. Nobody would fix it. Pretty sad experience.
Watched Bubbles the Clown which was literally the worst production I have ever seen in my life. The guy was not a good singer, not funny, and spent the whole time trying to get people to follow him on Instagram. I have no idea why a performing arts center of a high caliber would be so misleading and allow such trash to be performed on stage. Waste of money and time.
Love this place- every seat is a good one. And comfortable, too! Plenty of parking and many great restaurants within walking distance.
