We absolutely love this park. Membership ensures that all the pups have been vaccinated and fixed which really puts my mind at ease. There are tons of toys, water bowls, poo bags and enough space for dogs to either run and play together or fetch a Frisbee solo. Everyone that I have had the pleasure to meet has been lovely and the more I go the more it feels like a little community.
This is a wonderful park run by really dedicated people. It is a membership park now it didn't used to be, so make sure you visit the website and sign up to become a member. It's well worth it
Thor loved the dog park, everyone was friendly including the dogs!
Great park. Great people. Haven't had a bad encounter at all. I think the price point deters alot of the not so great dog owners. Wish it was a little bit bigger, but for what it is it's great. My dog told me it's worth every penny.
Dirty. Mud everywhere, barely any grass. Dirty water, dirty toys, dirty seats. The whole place is an eyesore. And the people I’ve met there are just nasty, won’t take accountability for their hyper dogs with no recall skills. Some nosey nancys go here.
Just joined the park with our 8 month old puppy and couldn't be happier! She has so much room to run, fresh water, toys and poop bags on hand, and the security of knowing that all owners are held responsible for their pets. Highly recommend!
Great park, water is provided in orange coolers. Water bowls are available. Spacious. However you do need a membership to access. For the price and not many parks around, it is worth it.
Kindof disappointed that this place became a private dog park. I would pay to be a member, but I feel that $100 a year is pretty exorbitant considering the quality and size of the park... In comparison, I went to a free, 13 acre dog park in Colorado that was absolutely the best dog park I've ever been to. Creek and everything! So yeah... not paying $100 for less than an acre dog park. That being said, if I lived like right around the block... I probably would, just out of convenience.
This park has been closed since September 2017. There has been talk of it reopening as a private member's only park. The grass is overgrown to 4 or 5 feet and there are 5 or 6 containers full of bagged up feces on site. I'll go out on a limb and consider this a lost cause. EDIT: The grass had been cut and the refuse has been removed but they are holding back on reopening until they receive adequate membership funds which include hours of menial service from the members.
This dog park ended up being better than I expected! My pup enjoyed it too, lots of room to smell and explore. Membership is encouraged but not required. There are balls and frisbees that are provided in buckets so thats a nice feature! There are also water bowls but not water source, so be sure to bring water for your dogs. If you want to sit in shade I would suggest bringing a chair if you plan on sitting and hanging out for a while, although there is one small bench under-ish a tree. This dog park has a lot of dirt, so I would probably avoid it post-rainy days unless you're ok with a muddy messy pup. If you are in the search of a good dog park and are flexible of where you can go, I would personally suggest this dog park over Schuylkill dog park. That one has turf, but for location no loud train going through, convenience parking is much easier and space, I would suggest coming here instead!
