Everything tastes and looks so fresh. Rice cooked to perfection. Porridge is delicious. Curry goat wasn't fatty. Will be traveling from either prospect heights or East NY and passing all other spots in between to get food from here.Food: 5/5
I came here Wednesday 03/18/24 around 6p.m. to buy my regular. I come here maybe once or twice a month. This was my very first time seeing this older lady that took my order today. She was mean & had a nasty attitude. I said hello to her, & she just looked at me with this mean face. Her whole demeanor was just out of order. I usually give them a $1 or $2 tip. Needless to say, I didn't give her anything. Some people need to stay in the back of the restaurant & not deal with the customers. She's definitely one of those people. Btw: I got a large oxtail with rice & peas. She gave me one teaspoon of cabbage, very little oxtails with lots of fat on them, & a bunch of rice & peas. This will be my last time going to this establishment.
The restaurant is over priced and the Indian supervisor gave me the wrong food and then argued to clear his name even though I specifically asked for something different stating that was not what I asked for. The attitude was very arrogant and for the quality of food it was unacceptable

I had the jerk pork with rice and peas and fried plantains. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted so good. It smelled so good i had to start eating before I could even take a picture.
This restaurant is good for a quick bite. They have both veggie and meat options. I had the curry and it was pretty good. The restaurant is reasonably priced. It’s a good local authentic place. If your looking for Jamaican food would recommend if.
This is a small takeout place that has very limited seating, just a few stools, so it's best to get your food to go.The food is already prepared in a buffet style, and it actually smelled pretty good, so we were excited to try it out. We ordered the stew chicken, rice and peas, and mac and cheese. The food was actually pretty good, and the prices were reasonable. The main issue was the lackluster service and that we were made to feel like we were annoying them by asking simply questions.
One of my fave Jamaican restaurants, the food is consistently good especially the jerk chickenFood: 5/5
I'm a regular. It's right by my job and I love the food. It's lunch when I want to buy lunch instead of meal prep. They are my local go-to. The food is good, the price is reasonable, and the amount they give is also good. A lot of other places nearby skimp me. When I eat here it's a proper meal and I'm not starving when I finish my food.
As a school team we order from this establishment daily. A call was placed for Jerk chicken with sauce on a side. As a restaurant there must be accommodations for people with digestive issues.
