Nice place, however I think we came on the day they had some shortage with staff... I think there was only one person who worked as a waitress and a cook at the same time. If that is the case, she did miracles because the place was VERY busy at lunch time. Unfortunately for us, it took about 45 minutes to get food, plus about 15 minutes for eating, which was in total way longer I could or wanted to spend on lunch. So, timewise it was stressful and not worth it. Food was good, but my burger was medium rare, instead of well done, as I wanted and way too salty. It still was acceptable, so no complains. The waitress was super nice and really did miracles there, trying to manage all craziness of a busy time.
We live nearby and love to come here for $1 oysters on Weds nights. I highly recommend the wild mushroom risotto, grilled octopus, and prosciutto pizza. The other menu items can be hit-or-miss though. In the past, we've had some underwhelming dishes, like the seafood risotto which was bland and the rozafa burger which was overcooked and just average. The servers are very nice and accommodating, but the kitchen can take upwards of 30 minutes to send food out, even when the restaurant isn't full.
Was in Quincy for an appointment, drove by this place and had a feeling it would be good, I was right! Was just looking to grab two sandwiches to go, was delightfully surprised by the menu! I ordered the Smoked Salmon sandwich and the traditional Gyro. Both were delicious and worth driving back for! The two ladies working were super friendly and helpful too.
Great spontaneous night out, led to a great meal and some new friends. Bri was friendly and makes great drinks and it was no problem customizing what my wife wanted to eat. Basically made an app into a meal. We will definitely return. Hopefully when it's a little less busy. I had the steak tips dinner and they were cooked perfectly as I asked and were delicious.
Nothing we ordered had any flavor, the atmosphere is cute but extremely overpriced for the quality of food. French onion soup is hot dirty dishwater with some chopped onions. Couldn’t take more than one sip of spicy marg. $30 meal of short ribs that were more like a crock pot pot roast, spinach that was just plain spinach, “truffle mashed potatoes “ .. no truffle .. no flavor at all. I don’t know what is going on in the kitchen here but after a $200 bill .. don’t recommend
Really fun and friendly place. Warm and friendly staff. Good breakfast hangout....excellent brunch menu...A+ Bloody Mary. Looking forward to returning for dinner soon.Food: 4/5
I decided to check this place out after a friend recommended it to me. I checked out Yelp and noticed a lot of the recent reviews were really poor — I thought, maybe it’s just by chance because my friend said it was good. However, I’m wishing I would have listened to Yelp. I set up a reservation for my birthday and the singular star alone comes from the ambience — it is very cute inside and out. However, everything else about Rozafa leaves much to be desired. The cocktail list is boring and doesn’t seem to match the food menu. We ordered bruschetta as a starter and it was fine — nothing special for $14. However, before the bruschetta came out, we were served soft Italian bread with what I had honestly assumed at first was blended bruschetta. I thought it was really weird, the server didn’t tell us what it was, so I just assumed it was their take on bruschetta. Then, we find out it was hummus when the server takes it away — It’s lucky we didn’t have an allergy at our table. Then, the bruschetta is actually brought out and we are both laughing to ourselves. We order bread as a starter and you bring us other bread before that? How strange! Finally, we get our mains. I ordered the short rib and my partner ordered the fettuccine bolognese. The short rib was terribly unseasoned and bone dry on the inside — more like beef jerky. The mashed potatoes were smashed, lumpy, and there was no hint of truffle as the menu suggests. The spinach was fine. I mean, it’s spinach. But for $30? Yikes. The bolognese was so sweet, you couldn’t taste anything else. It seriously tasted like it came out of a can of Chef Boyardee. Oh well. You live and you learn, and my mistake was not listening to the reviews. Save yourself and just go somewhere else.
The food was excellent and well presented and the waitstaff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A wonderful place, and we will be back! The French onion soup is based on a clear broth, and full of rich onion flavor. The steak tips and stuffed pork chop are both highly recommended! The food does take a while to cook, so make sure to allow enough time so you don't have to hurry through your meal — it's worth savoring! Update: Their breakfast is good too! Typical dinner-style breakfast staples. I had a corned-beef-hash and Cheddar omelette; my partner had thick, fluffy blueberry pancakes.
Delicious food. Excellent service. Friendly staff. We've ordered: 1. Gyro sandwich Pita 2. Shrimp Po-boy 3. Mediterranean pizza Everything is yummy!! Gyro is my favorite. Best part.. reasonable prices.
They had the best type of ice in their drinks: crushed! Definitely recommend going there, it was amazing. I Am not aware of any other restaurants that have crushed ice in their drinks. 1000/10
