RTA Cabinet Store

As this was my first experience at kitchen design(I was thrust into the position by my daughter asking for my help) working with Eric was fantastic. He took all our ideas and turned them into a fabulous kitchen. He was patient with all my numerous crazy questions and changes. He stayed with us to we got it right! I am so thankful for his expertise and perseverance. I would recommend RTA to anyone who is thinking of taking on this endeavor! Can't wait to get our cabinets and see them installed. Extremely nice cabinets for a very good price. Easy to assemble. Appreciate the great follow up and communication. They are carefully packed for shipping and specific instructions on what to look for when they arrive. Ordered online after many days/weeks of contemplating. Almost had a panic attack after hitting the "confirm order" button. Was nervous about what I would actually get and quality of the cabinets, but I am not disappointed. I did have to call to clarify a few details that we're not clear on the website, but questions were quickly answered. I will recommend RTA and also shop here for the bathroom renovation begins.

My Fiancee and I recently bought a fixer upper, and taking some time off between jobs I went all-in on a kitchen renovation. After ripping out the old cabinets, knocking down a wall, and tearing out the old floors I came to find out cabinets from just about anywhere were literally months to get. My realtor luckily recommended RTA, and after visiting the showroom with my Fiancee we got our cabinets on order. I worked with Anni and Michael the manger, both of whom were great. My cabinets came in about two weeks later, and despite the first one being a bit of a bear to get together, the rest went together pretty easily. The oven cabinet and the lazy Susan were definitely the hardest. Up to date assembly videos would also help. My only other gripe was trying to reach RTA by phone was damn near impossible. I had to go to the showroom to actually get my questions answered. Our kitchen came out amazing, and in record time. Its a lot of fun to have people guess at how much we spent on the renovation, because when we tell them how much these cabinets cost their jaws drop. I'm super happy with the cabinets. When the time comes to re-do the bathrooms and maybe even my workshop cabinets, I'll definitely come back to RTA. I attached a couple before and after photos - what a difference!

In short if you are looking for moderately priced cabinets that are moderately strong moderately good-looking and take a moderate amount of time to assemble this place is perfect for you. If you're looking for something that's extremely fashionable or extremely sturdy or doesn't take any of your time look elsewhere. Family ordered Shaker Cherry cabinet set off of their online store. Before ordering definitely always order a sample door! I would say the photos on the website are definitely of the correct products but I rather optimisticly framed and lit. And you really can't see the texture of the wood grain unless you get closer than that. Probably would have gone with white cabinets instead of the cheap wood grain cabinets as these don't really looks like wood. If you looking for very inexpensive cabinets at a low price , and don't mind spending the time to assemble cabinets that are made from some kind of processed wood product, this may be worth it but it's far from what I would call a perfect experience. The shipment arrived on time. The instructions were in black and white but they're not more or less confusing then the average self-assembled furniture. I would say that they are as strong as they need to be and no stronger, these things are not extremely sturdy but they don't really need to be for some applications. There were some scratches and Imperfections in the faux wood surface when the cabinets were received, and it seems like if you're not careful it's very easy accidentally break through the wood grain covering on them into the wood fiber material below. I would recommend assembling them on a large table covered with a padded blanket or something to keep them from scratching, For the first week or so after assembly there was a strong smell of glue or something like that but it passed shortly. The manufacturing tolerances are acceptable but there were a few places where they didn't seem to fit together perfectly but that may just be my lack of carpenter skills.

I read reviews which were mixed for not only RTA but other companies. But I made the leap and ordered my cabinets and I have to say it was easy and seamless, great communication and updates. My order came on time. I did have two pieces with damage but filed my damage claim and with in two weeks I had my new pieces. I have everything they look great and were super easy to assemble. Great quality!
