Great experience. Authentic Russian food. Was there on a Saturday night, they had live music and many Russians dancing and having a great time. Extensive menu. Salo, borscht and Oliver salad. Great variety of Vodkas. Will definitely return, this is my new place in midtown.
Was my first time here and I thought it was a good overall experience. Food seemed authentic so it does live up to its name. Staff may not be the most warm, free flowing, but they mean well. And frankly I think it’s more of a cultural thing. Anyway, if you’re interested in some authentic Russian food, this is your spot.
Arrived just after 5 on a Saturday and sat at the bar. They were booked at the tables. Same menu in both places. Service was quick and very friendly. Had the mushroom Vol-Au-Vent. It was delicious. Highly recommend.
A cozy, unpretentious restaurant with good Russian food. Great service. Definitely coming back!
Great location, nice live music, great piano bar overall
