Our go-to spot for a great meal! Conveniently located in our neighborhood, we’ve been here several times, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always family-friendly, and the customer service is consistently excellent. The food is delicious, and the drinks are top-notch— every time. Plus, they have the best brunch on 9th Avenue! Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality food and a welcoming vibe!
The food and drinks at this restaurant are worth every penny! Yall need to try it out! I went here before a show with some the friends and it was a great decision. The restaurant is a but small, yet intimate. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. This spot has fast service, quality delicious meals and srong drinks. What more could you ask for? Our server, Emily, was the sweetest and gave us some food recommendations. The guacamole and chips were okay. The chips were crispy, but the quacamole needed some more seasoning and spice. My friend loved the chicken flautas and her mango margarita. The chicken fajitas was a large portion and came with some seasoned rice and beans. I ordered the carne asado tacos and it was prepared very well. But, it tasted a bit off. It could have the tortilla that was used and me not being familiar with it. I would definitely come her again for some drinks, fajitas, and might try a different taco.
Great place, great food, great staff. May I recommend the Chicken Enchiladas with the Salsa Verde. The shredded chicken has flavor on its own but is upgraded with the Salsa verde and the melted cheese on top. The Carne Asada Tacos are simple yet delicious. Topped off with guac and on grilled onions. They aren't the typical bigger tacos we get. They are on the smaller side which can perhaps be eaten in two bites. The Nachos are a great starter to your meal. They are not your typical stacked up nachos with shreddes cheese, lettuce & mid tortilla chips that have the sodium levels through the roof. With these nachos you can taste each ingredient in every bite- Melted cheese, refried beans, jalapeños, Mexican cream & cheese. Definitely taste more homey. The Guacamole is pretty decent, taste fresh and appropriately salted. The one downside, in my opinion, are the portions. And I'm speaking specifically for the food that I got. For example you only get two enchiladas when in most restaurants, standard is 3. The tacos are, like I said, on the smaller side. And the nachos are smaller portions compared to others. Just keeping in mind these are Manhattan prices we're paying. BUT, they definitely have quality. And if I had to choose, I would definitely choose quality over quantity.
Came for the good star reviews but was disappointed. Service can be improved, food was not authentic, not many vegetarian options available and atmosphere was too noisy. If you’re looking for a place to have a cozzy chat and enjoy some real authentic Mexican food, this is not the place for you.Food: 3/5
Food is great! Took off one tiny star for high prices but it is Manhattan so take that with a grain of salt like the awesome margaritas. The atmosphere, the service, the vibes are fun and lively and they are serving food well into 1am. Tacos were awesome, enchiladas same, guacamole, all of it really. The service is capped off by whom I believe is either a manager or bar manager, super friendly big guy full of attitude and fun. Place was very busy with large service crowd after hours and he still went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Good spot for late night Manhattan Mexican.
Had an amazing time! Our server Jose Luis was amazing, he’s created such a fun and welcoming vibe. The staff was very attentive to all our needs. Will definitely be returning!
Delicious food and great service…highlights were shrimp fajitas, guacamole and the spicy margaritas!!!!Food: 4/5
They serve traditional Mexican cuisine! The quality of the food was too tier. The service was quick and the servers attended to my requests and asked questions to ensure satisfaction with my order. Definitely recommend!!
Only get to travel home to US once a year and always get Mexican food. This food was excellent. The chef makes his own homemade sauces. I’m ok paying more if it’s as good as this. Can’t wait to come backFood: 5/5
Great food and service! Inside is loud and high energy, with outdoor heated seating area with lots of tables for two. We sat outside and the temperature was very comfortable and noise level much more suited for dinner conversation. We enjoyed our food and would definitely come back again!Food: 5/5
