Ruth Enlow Library of Garrett County

This library is fine. It's not great. But it's not bad. The staff was friendly, but I didn't have much interaction with them. The space is very dated, and could do with a refresh. But it's very functional and it's seems a fair amount of pride and care go in to this library. The biggest reason this library gets only 3 stars from me though is the fact that there weren't very many good place to sit and get work done. Nor was there any sort of private study space in case you needed to have a study session or phone call. It's kind of all just one big room. This unfortunately also means the children, teens, and reading areas only really have their own "corner" and aren't separated at all. Most of my reviews come from the perspective of 1. "can I work here?", 2. "is it convenient and safe?", and 3. "can a reserve a room in case I need to make a phone call?". While it does okay at the first, definitely fulfills the second, it does not allow for the third.

The Liberians are very helpful and friendly. Never have had a bad experience there! They are awesome! Library is very clean!
