Went here for the first time for an eye exam and new glasses. I couldn't be more pleased. Everything was efficient and everyone was friendly. Dr. Lee and was very thoughtful and helpful throughout my exam and accommodated a special need. I was pleased with her patience and knowledge. Rachel from the adjacent eyeglass center was amazing. She intuitively knew what looked good on me and what didn't, and said so without being insulting or judging. Every other eyeglass place I've been to does the hard sell. Rachel just wants you to be satisfied. And she saved me money, too. Never had a better experience from exam to glasses. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have been going here for nearly 9 years and we're consistently satisfied with the level of care from Dr. Flemke, as well as the eyeglass staff. Dr. Flemke is one of those old-breed docs that really takes the time to get to know you and cares about you on an individual level. Great guy. Don't let the somewhat brusque, over-the-phone tone of the desk staff turn you off, they're lovely people in person who just happen to have a lot on their plate. Great practice, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Drs. Ratner & Cassel have been taking care of me & my eyes for over 20 yrs. They are the BEST. They have done everything from routine exams to cataract surgery, etc. Dr. Ratner 'caught' my wet md so early that she saved my eyesight! They are both professional and compassionate.

I was referred to Dr.Cassel after my ophthalmologist informed me that my cataracts had progressed to the point where my vision could no longer be corrected with glasses. Dr. Cassel observed me for a year before he agreed that cataract surgery was necessary. The day after an incident free surgery at GBMC my bandage was removed and the difference in my vision was immediate and powerful. Colors were saturated, edges were crisp, and the world was much brighter. A second surgery on the other eye proved equally successful.
