RW Latin Dance

Rodrigo and Wendy made our celebration of Hispanic Heritage month so much more rich with their educational dance class. While we had so much fun dancing, we also absolutely loved learning about the history behind each dance and the culture impacts each dance had. We got a deeper understanding and appreciation of our cultures and got to do it while expressing ourselves in a new way!

Rodrigo and Wendy were wonderful enough to come to Waltonwood Providence A senior living community and get our residents up and moving for active aging week! They were so nice and were great interacting with the residents with a smile on their face. I would recommend these two wonderful people to anyone who likes to dance!!!

I booked a private salsa lesson with Rodrigo and Wendy for my fiancés birthday. They were incredibly kind, funny, patient, and they were amazing teachers. We had an absolute blast learning with them! Went to our first Bachata lesson ever, and to say we had a blast was an understatement! Wendy was fun and outgoing and made you feel totally comfortable being a beginner. Me and my husband had so much much fun, we even went home and practiced the new moves we learned that night. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. I look forward to many more lessons here :

RW Latin Dance is the best spot in Charlotte to learn latin dance styles! All of the staff is very friendly and knowledgable. There are options for drop in classes, monthly unlimited classes, and even family plans so you can learn at your own pace. They offer classes of all levels and for all ages. I would recommend this studio for anyone because you can go to meet people and have fun or if you want to be more serious you can join teams and work your way up to higher levels, Rodrigo and Wendy will tailor your experience to your wants/needs!! Everyone who attends is like a big family and we love welcoming new people!

Some of the best instructors I’ve experienced in the Latin Dance Community in all of my travels. They are also the most encouraging, knowledgeable, sincere, professional and just awesome couple to learn from!!! I drove 3.5 hrs one way weekly for about a year to take lessons from them and be on their dance team. Definitely worth every minute of it!! Now they are helping my Fiancé and I with a wedding choreography.

My wife and I are grateful for the opportunity to train with and learn from Rodrigo & Wendy. Their style of teaching for us as individuals and as a couple has been an amazing experience. We appreciate their tremendous patience, technical expertise, and encouraging coaching style to help us not only enjoy partner dancing but grow and understand what the leader and follower need to have a good dance partnership. I am happy I made the decision to start dance classes at RW Latin Dance last year. I like that they have different levels so you can go at your own pace. They provide feedback and care about your progression. Best of all is you meet great people. If you want a challenge and take your dancing to the next level, join the dance team! My experience with the dance team has been wonderful and I look forward to learning more and having fun!

Rodrigo and Wendy are amazing! We're doing Salsa, Bachata and Chachacha and we also started taking private lessons with them! The classes are so fun and they are really good at teaching you the little techniques and explaining things in a way that are easier for you to figure out the right movements. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect place to come dance. Everyone is friendly and treats you like family. It's challenging and fun. Huge space so you're not constantly bumping into others. Nice floors. My son comes and watches his ipad while i dance. He loves it and reminds me that we have salsa mondays and salsa/bachata on wednesdays. . Compared to other places, Rodrigo and Wendy offer dance quality, styling, multiple dance types incorporated into the routines, and they give education as to how the moves of the dance came about for better understanding of the movement patterns, instruments used and the sentiment of the music for that time period and how it evolved. Also the difference with RW compared to other places is that Rodrigo and Wendy are always taking classes and bringing back that material which keeps us on our toes and constantly learning. They seek to learn new things although they are already masters at dance !!! What great role models and concept about life in general right! Their teachings surpass just the art of dance. You can incorporate what they give you into life itself. I've been coming since september 2019 to current feb 2020 and as of now don't plan on stopping. .
