Safeway

I went there to get A&W Root Beer sodas. They don't have the same items as the Piney Branch store, Nor the sales. So I bought a couple of single sodas today and will get what I want at the other store. I noticed a few items costing more here also. I like the size and the mood if the store. Unfortunately, the cashier I had was not that friendly. If I come back, I will steer clear of her.

This the only store that I have repeatedly had issues involving fresh food. I limit my shopping here to last minutes bottles items only.

Well stocked, organized and clean location. Close to metro and other transportation. Parking on site underneath store.

Decent stock, produce & accommodating employees I wish they’d leave more of the handheld baskets near the door onto Ga ave More often than not I have to walk across the store, passed the elevator, and when I’m lucky there’s a stack of them

The best asset this Safeway has, is a sitting area with tables, chairs and booths. A great place to shop have an aromatic cup of coffee and look out the window for your taxi or ride. The staff is extremely hrlpful and will assist you if needed. Excellent bakery.there is also a wine section, parking garage on the lower level, for lucky urbanites that still drive everywhere. The metro is a half block away and bus stops are on both sides of Georgia avenue. A Starbucks is located within the store. It's a most enjoyable way to shop and outing to surely enjoy!
