LeDroit Market is upping the DC bodega game. Standard bodega's have just the bare essentials that may or may not be within the expiration date. LeDroit has that (always check the expiration dates), but they also have so much more. First item of proof is their coffee corner. For much cheaper than one of the fancy local coffee shops, you can get decent drip coffee with all the fixings. Secondly, they serve fresh salads and sandwiches and even have a small window table to enjoy lunch at (if no one else is sitting there). On top of it all, they have a decent ice cream and beer/wine section. Pretty much one could survive just off of items found at LeDroit Market.

Great spot to grab something you may have missed at the grocery store. Tons of beer and wine options and also great sandwiches! I love this place!

Staff here are very nice and friendly. I always find what I am looking for here. They get very busy in the evening and early afternoon from time to time. I prefer to shop in the morning here because there is no full wave or rush. earbuds sold here.
