Hidden gem! I’ve tried almost all of the Sri Lankan restaurants on Staten Island but this one by far takes the cake. Amazing food for an affordable price. The owners Sagara and Anuradha are super sweet and nice to talk to.
Very friendly and tasty food. I recommend everyone to eat from here. Husband and wife very friendly nice to everyone
SRI LANKA Eat the World NYC review: At an address not known for its long-lasting restaurants, a four month old newcomer tries to buck the trend. The first word on their kitchen is positive, with an obvious care taken in their dishes. Try this beautiful lamprais, a dish of meat curry over rice baked in a banana leaf wrap. Also of some note is the yogurt drink flavored with wood apple, a fruit in the citrus family found in South and Southeast Asia. We will be cheering for Sagara to do better than its predecessors and become a neighborhood mainstay within Staten Island's Sri Lankan community.
I so wish we had a Lankan store like this in the Midwest. The owner was so nice!!
It's very good and wanted to share that The food was with every little bit of it. The main course was more than enough to fully understand my stomach. Great time to eat well and go to sleep with a full stomach. Ask for chef when going over there. I'm coming from Brooklyn to this place to get some great food.
Food is good but have faced other issues at the store that I am not going to fully disclose.Food: 4/5
Really good Sri Lankan food. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try authentic Sri Lanka and South Indian food. It's on Victory Boulevard so street parking is available. Prices are very reasonable. Unlike many other places, this place has some real authentic stuff!
Best falooda I’ve ever tried & Best Srilankan restaurant in town. Super friendly staff and high quality food. Issue is the parking but you can find street parking around. Highly recommended
Great food. Friendly staff.. definitely recommend!!
The food was really good, and so well-priced. I had the hoppers, and was satisfied with just the pepper-onion chutney as a topping, as opposed to adding a curry their vegetarian curry option was a thin daal, which doesn't really go. The service was a little slow before we got our meals, but a little too attentive after. Friendly though!
