The restaurant is a small but quaint hole in the wall locally owned family run business. A decent menu with lots of options. The baguette sandwiches are unique, tasty and very affordable. I will return for the more traditional fare, specifically the curry and pho choices soon.
Love this place. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant is clean. Prices are fair. Pho is tasty. Great lunch spot in downtown Salem.
What sweet people that own this place, and the Pho is really good, not the best I've had but really close.
Incredibly nice people. I ordered Pho and left feeling entirely satisfied with the quality and amount of food I got, but I ordered the #1 Vietnamese sandwich to take home and eat later. Both were exceptional, ingredients were fresh, and the price was very low. I'm a student on a tight budget, and I think I found my new go-to restaurant for a quality meal on a small budget. The service was a little slow, but there were only two people staffing the whole restaurant, and they were so nice I didn't even care.
Great, home made food. Mama's cooking is beautiful! And we loved cat themed spoons.
Wanted to enjoy my experience, tried to, but couldn't. The waiter forgot what we ordered and had to come back and ask again. And then forgot what our drink order was, and had to come back and ask again - why not just write it down in the first place? He seemed very frazzled, and that would be understandable if the restaurant was super busy, but less than one quarter of the tables were occupied. Anyway... our appetizer order came back incorrect. We said it was okay and ate it anyway. For entrees, we ordered the ginger chicken and the lemongrass chicken. We were served ginger chicken and chicken curry. So I had to wait even longer for them to re-make my order. When my lemongrass chicken arrived... well, the menu doesn't state that the lemongrass chicken comes in an EXTREMELY strong fish sauce. It was inedible to my Western palate, even though I am not a picky eater by any means. Or perhaps Grandma in the kitchen is developing Alzheimer's...? On the plus side, the staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is nice, the thai tea and the iced coffee are awesome, good prices, and the entree that we WERE able to eat was very good.
Sadly, it’s not open during the pandemic. I had the opportunity to try it before they closed and it was AMAZING. Their service was quick and staff was very patient and friendly! Their prices are great for a good portions, that will leave you satisfied! I ordered beef pho togo and had it ready within 5-10 minutes. Very clean and spacious, they have a relaxing and calm atmosphere!
Love this family owned restaurant right in downtown. Often times we'll get the pho but have enjoyed the shrimp and pork on rice noodles, very tasty. Looking forward to trying the lunch buffet. The service is always kind and with a smile.
Always happy with the food and service. I just had the chicken curry and it was perfect, but their pho and baguettes are always great too. In case the owners review this - Please consider adding a half baguette and pho soup and half sandwich to the menu. That would be amazing, and ordering full orders of each the baguette and pho is just a little too much food.
Very satisfying and delicious pho. I ordered the large beef pho with tendon and meatballs as well the garden rolls with chicken. It was so good we went back and had the same thing. Friendly and quick service makes this place a cozy option for those damp and chilly Oregon winter days. Coffee at The Gov Cup next door becomes a perfect afteroon.
