Story

Al Gentile has owned the St. George Pharmacy for thirty-one years. In March of 2012, he moved the business to a larger building on Stuyvesant Place with the goal of including a medical center. His business is definitely the first independently-owned pharmacy to have a medical center in Staten Island. The office is headed by Dr. Privilage Masoni, who has worked in Staten Island since 2008. Dr. Masoni will welcome walk-ins, emergencies, and scheduled appointments, accepting all kinds of insurance plans. This kind of development is especially important in a neighborhood like St. George, where there is a shortage of doctors’ offices.

Great alternative to Walgreen and CVS they also have better pricing. Parking is awful around the building or I would give it 5 stars. The staff is very kind and I recommended going here to get your medication. If you’re doing 3 month intervals of medication at a time, call ahead to see if they can service it.
Best pharmacists. Both Al the owner and Ron are best pharmacists ive ever dealt with in all my years. . Unlike a big chain pharmacy these pharmacists get to know you. There is interaction. They are patient kind and extremely knowledgeable. The pharmacist will call me direct if theres a question or if he thinks something may be off. The woman and man who do the register are always so pleasant. Parking around there can be a challenge but the great staff makes it worth it. Best pharmacy ive ever used. So def give them a try
Very rude and unprofessional. I had called yesterday at 6:24pm. I was asking about prescriptions that were sent. I gave my date if birth and name. The issue was that my insurance was cut off so they told me they'll put it on hold. The dude named several prescription for me. My insurance was turned back on and I wanted to see if it will go through. But they told me they don't have any prescription for me just 1 from a month ago. I tried explaining I called yesterday and spoke with someone but the man over the phone which must have been someone else because the first person wasn't rude, he told me nobody here told me that. Very unprofessional.
I've been using this Pharmacy since 10/2014. These guys are awesome helpful, kind, respectful, friendly - I am there neighbor and I patronize this drugstore exclusively ! Highly recommended
The old pharmacist prejudiced not only my special needs adult daughter for her prescription with denying her prescription, despite of the fact she has 2 remaining refills causing her to be in distress. He filled another of the scripts via the REFILL terms, instead he used his own made up terms. He was accusatory with his made up assumptions by sight, instead of mindfulness. His behaviours in the presence of the 2 women employees that appear to bend to his prejudicial acceptance by demeaning others based on innuendos were awkward and demoralizing. Utilize a reputable pharmacy chain, this mom and pop shop is a rip off as well with their overpricing tactics.
Rude and unhelpful across the board. The black cashier is a dope & can't count change. Owner is total jerkoff, and I stopped going there awhile ago. Prices are way better at CVS & the chains! Don't bother. You'll thank me...
I have been a customer at this Pharmacy my entire life. I can call or stop in and speak with the pharmacist about anything related to any kind of illness, medication, a mixture of both, and they always know all the answers, and if they don't they direct me to the right place where I can find out. They're very patient and respectful and I feel totally comfortable going there and allowing them to know and help with my medical information. They also have a great section where they have a really nice gifts for every occasion and holiday, at reasonable prices. They have a kids section with some pretty cool toys, and they always have stuff on sale.
I have been a custmer for about 22 years. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist. The pharmacists Al and Neil are friendly and extremely helpful. They know there long time customers by name and greet you like an old friend that's visiting. Yes, the store is on Stuyvesant place which has many businesses and parking is extremely limited but it's a minor inconvenience.
Pharmacist is rude and unprofessional. first timer with them and I've never had an experience in my life where I felt attacked. If you are looking for a considerate and professional pharmacy with a competent pharmacist I advise you look somewhere else.
3 of the 4 people on the team I've interacted with are great. The fourth - no mask and rude. This is not okay in a pharmacy where people need to go and not be put at risk of catching covid. He was short on the phone and barely grunted out a greeting in store while and he was taking a personal call.
