Sala Thai

The waitress did an amazing job, she took care of us, made sure we got our food, apologized when it was necessary, and fulfilled the duties that were required of her. But the owners of this restaurant need to learn the balance of sending out To-go orders and Dine-in orders. You (Whoever you are.) need to understand the importance of your Dine-in customers as well. Also, just because it's a family owned business doesn't mean that you can just be under the mindset of letting family help the flow of your restaurant run smoothly, you as the owner(s) need to find time to hire other people to assist with the restaurant. Maybe if you took the time to hire more people and paid your employees a little better, you're restaurant wouldn't be as bad as it should be.

This place was ridiculous. We have a party of 10. We walked in and it was not busy. Was only given two menu. We have to walk up and grab our own menus. We waited over an hour to receive our food, because they were more focus on getting the takeout food that people order in the restaurant. They obvious didn't care about the people that are dining in. The food was very salty and quickly made because they knew we waited long enough. Food didn't come out at the same time. I cannot believe they charge 18% gratuity for the worst services.

Definitely best Thai food in Madison. Cool atmosphere, and family owned restaurant. Service is a little slow, so don't come here if you're in a huge hurry. But the food is worth the wait.

first time to try Sala. nice environment. kind server. but foods took over 40 minutes to be served at the table. we ordered pot tai and fried rice and both dishes were really salty so we couldn't eat them; had to ask them re-cook one of the dishes. do not recommend this restaurant.

We got the tom kha and the chicken pad Thai and both were great dishes. I am a sucker for the coconut soup and while it wasn't the best I've had, it was still very good and at a great price too. Highly recommend
