Salem Public Library

i love the library! the librarians are so helpful and I love the computer station you get a lot of time each day and the printing station is really easy to figure out. I always come here and either read or even just sit in the lobby on their comfy couches and embroider I love it here!

They are very welcoming of kids and have great story times. However, they fill up too fast. They should have more of them! Also, you have to pay to park which is a disservice. They won't allow people outside of city limits to check out more than 3 books.

We love this library. They always have events going on for kids. We go every week to select new books and always have a great selection to pick from, but you do pay for parking in the parking garage

Love the library and the hold system. I have saved so much money on cookbooks by checking here first. I am not a fan of the metered parking, but I do appreciate that I've never not found parking. I also love how fast the self-checkout is!

Calm and quiet atmosphere, conveniently located sections with brand new/popular books right up front, as well as excellent suggested books along the wall. Lots of events for kids and adults listed online and in their monthly newsletter. I like that their website is easy to use (there or at home) to locate any book I can think of. If they don't have what I'm looking for I can still see when it will be returned, if another location has it, or have it held and sent to any library in their network. I'm looking forward to taking the kids there this afternoon and can't wait to see what they think of the children's area & bookstore.
