A friend and I stopped after a work lunch to pick up a few items. We were in one section for a while because we couldn’t find the item that we needed. The worker didn’t ask if we needed help but literally sat on the register counter and turned to stare at us with arms folded as if she were waiting for us to steal. I didn’t notice at first and when I did, I originally thought she was waiting for us in case we were ready to check out. However 5 minutes passed with her not helping us but watching like a hawk. I’ve worked retail in a high shrink store before so I get it but her methods were rude and tasteless. Ask if the customer needs help, restock or straighten something, but most of all don’t stereotype people! I work in cybersecurity and wouldn’t ever risk my security clearance for something as dumb as an .80 emery board. This is the third bad experience I’ve had at Sally’s in NJ. I’ll be shopping online from now on!
