The guys working here are awesome , always a great shopping experience , they know me by name ,have no problem going out of there way. With a smile for me couldn't really ask for more .tired of going into other stores and having individuals who do not have automotive experience knowledge or skills , and then cant work the computer system, aka autozone....wont be going there unless I absolutely have to , to all the guys at salvo, thanks for putting up with me .keep up the great work.
Charles and Austin helped me find a tail light for my 2010 Volvo C30, after 2 other stores in the area failed miserably. They worked diligently like a team to cross reference an obscure Volvo bulb. I was in and out in less then 5 minutes, after all the frustration of dealing with the 2 previous stores, it was so nice when they made sure I was taken care of. Thanks guys!
Robert went above and beyond to ensure a quality customer experience. This young man assisted me with my car part, then volunteered to come outside in the pouring rain to affix it to my vehicle, a process that would take 20 minutes. He is the type of person I would make director of operations in my company. Exceptional.
This store is a waste of time and money. Incompetent, lazy and outright rude staff coupled with a low selection of products in barely stocked shelves makes for a repulsive shopping experience. I went to pick up turn signal bulbs and fog lights very common and simple order and they gave me an already open package for the turn signals and the wrong fog light bulbs. You've got to be kidding me. Never going back until they bulldoze the place and build a Seven Eleven.
At the last minute on a Friday night, my wife requested my help getting a burned out headlamp replaced. From prior experience, I knew this normally easy job was slightly beyond my comfort zone because it required moving moving the battery around to get to the bulb for replacement. A very chipper team of young Nick and Alex told me they would be happy to help me do the repair right in their parking lot!! Alex arrived with several socket wrenches and extensions, and made short work out of the replacement - and within minutes I am on my way home....problem solved!! Where do you GET professional and polite help like that these days??? My hat is off to Alex and Nick and Salvo auto parts for their EXCELLENT service!!
I have been to other Salvo locations but I felt the selection was not there. Also I was not greeted not asked for assistance. The associates seemed more interested in video games than myself being a customer. I did eventually found what I was looking for. Won't shop here again
My husband went there to buy a battery and paid for it by check. Salvo submitted the check twice--one electronically and once the regular way--so my bank account was dinged twice. My bank fixed the error but it took 24 hours. It could not have happened at a worse time because I needed the money to pay a bill and had to put it on the credit card. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN!
This is your standard salvo auto parts. You can pretty much always find what you want and you will pretty much always wish they had more people working the counter. Still, it's about as good as it gets. The only drawback is the methadone clinic right behind the salvo. Lock your doors.
Robert should be promoted to director of operations; what a phenomenal character. He went above and beyond to ensure a quality customer experience, and never once hesitated in his service despite several significant obstacles. Thanks to Robert, I will make Salvo's in Timonium my first stop before considering any other automotive store.
Went to Salvo's on York Road in Cockeysville for a new battery last eveing around 7pm, I had to get a hot shot twice on my way there. I asked if they could help me find and install a bettery, There are signs all around the exerior of the buildig advertising that they will install the battery for you I was told by the boys behind the counter that it's dark so they can't help me. Not only would they not help install a battery they weren't even interested in helping me find one for my car. So, I went 2 miles down the road to Auto Zone, broke down while turning into their parking lot due to my dead battery but I made it. Matthew from Auto Zone helped me find the right battery and he also installed it for me. I will never shop at Salvo's again. If you look at Salvo's Facebook it's all positive. Well because they won't allow a bad comment on the site. SMH...
